Such a great deal! Great price for an incredible view of the mountains, and everything you would need in a mini kitchenette for a couple nights. Loved the hot tub with a view of the resort. Only complaint was the pillows are awful, and the curtains are too low and cause the sun to rise right into your room since there is a foot of open space at the top
It’s a great location.
Wish they didn’t have furniture and beds that feel 20+ years old. Wasn’t expecting to need fix my back from trying to use the couch & bed.
The gym is atrocious. Very outdated and has broken equipment. Sauna and steam room were also not functioning.
Staff are great, but barely onsite.
Convenience store was closed.
Place has so much potential if more effort was put into it.
We were initially worried about the stay due to bad reviews and low ratings after we had booked. But that went out the window once we got there. The room was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, laundry in room was great. Bed was super comfy. Air conditioning worked great. Balcony was nice. Huge bath tub. Yes lots of things were closed during the week but it’s off season right now. That’s understandable. Place seemed to become more alive after Thursday, but we didn’t care because we just used the room as a place to come back to and cook our own meals after a full day of Hiking and sightseeing. Price was great. We had zero complaints.
No sauna or steam room available although this may have been posted in advance. No staff at the front desk most of the time we were there. Free parking was difficult to find even though the area was quiet, ended up paying for hotel parking @ $15/night. Hot tub worked but the lights didn’t so we sat in the dark. TV had awful connection so it kept kicking out every 10-20 minutes. I would stay somewhere different next time. This place was budget friendly but you get what you pay for. Rooms were clean.
Great communication and nice location with fantastic views from the balcony. The property was dated but we really appreciated the quality linens and provision of laundry detergent, etc
Enjoyed my stay at Glacier Mountain lodge. There is no staff on site and all communication is via email. You will be provided with a check in code for the lobby door and your room but you are not able to get into the building until 4 PM sharp even if your room is ready. The location is 13 kilometres outside the town of Golden and there are no restaurants or any kind of shopping on site. There is a convenience store in the building but it does not open until ski season starts. If you want to go out for dinner or you are planning to make your own meals and forgot to bring something you will have to drive the 13 kilometres back to town. Our room was facing the mountains and the view was incredible.
Only thing was the bed and pillows were very hard and made sleeping very difficult. Otherwise the suite was fantastic and the bathtub is larger with a separate shower. Basically the ideal one bedroom apartment for anyone. Just very poor sleeping after hiking. Would still recommend.

Location was excellent at the base of the Kicking Horse Mountain. Short trip from Golden. No Guest services for checking-in, so a little trouble getting clear direction with all information required with room number and door codes. Confusing and hard finding the proper phone number for assistance. I booked using Expedia and might have been the problem. Once resolved though, the stay was great!
Good room but a bit on the small side. Steps away from ski lifts. Restaurant nearby. Underground garage is a plus

place is under renovation, elevator is not working our blinds got stuck. But the views of the mountains are gorgeous. Good supplies of kitchen appliances and all working. Complete supplies of cutlery and utensils. Good choice of coffee. The hot tub is working perfectly
Staff was very helpful through messaging, really liked that. Check in was easy. The outside of the building is really nice. Car garage was nice and clean. As soon as we entered through the garage it’s dim and dirty looking. Baseboards falling off the wall. The property could use a facelift. We had room 212B. We really liked facing the mountain, bed was really soft, bedding was soft, face cloths and towels were very soft, liked the little kitchen with the appliances. The room was so hot, the fans came in handy. Not sure I’d survive a hot summer day in that room. The whole patio could use some weeding, we had a birds nest with a dead bird hanging out the side, patio was dirty with old chunk a of food, there was clear thing on the ground of ours (I believe it was up above to deter birds from perching and pooping all over) widows were so dirty, carpets stained (didn’t go barefoot while in the room). The pictures online made the property look newer and better maintained. We decided not to check out the hot tub after our initial cleanness of the building and room.
Because our stay was during the summer there was no staff around and the building's elevator was not functioning. Hauling our luggage to the second/third floor was not a pleasant experience, but a minor irritation.
Finding the stairwell to the floor we needed was a bit of an exercise.
The room was comfortable and clean. It was quite warm outside, so the lack of air conditioning was a bit unfortunate. The breeze that carried in the storm that night was a sleep saver.
Overall the stay was a good one. The bed was comfortable and we had everything that we needed. We would stay again.

In our stay period, the elevator is out of service. Cooking ware is not enough.
Staffs are very friendly to answer all the questions.

Staff was cooperative
Excellent mountains view
But elevator was not working
We were on 4th floor with stairs
No air conditioning
The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. we really enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were the check‑in process and the elevator being out of service. There was no front desk staff, and although we received our room codes by email, there was no parking information included. Carrying everything up the stairs wasn’t ideal, but the room itself made up for it.
