It was basic. You have to go around the corner to Novotel to check in and get your swipe card to access the building and get room allocation. No staff onsite to assist with luggage or other inquiries.

Geneva pit stop

Central location close to train station - next to red light area so might not suit all - i felt safe and good thai food accross the street. I had a room at front and slept like a baby on a sat nite. I would stay again.

Nice but noisy

Nice enough studio, close to train station. Hotel provided us with free transport which was a lovely gesture. However it is the red district which in itself didn't bother us but a very noisy area at night If you're room facing the street.

The property is managed by the Novotel reception and I would give these folks 10 stars out of five if I could. Special shout out to receptionist Luba who emitted positive energy and always wore a pleasant smile and made me feel super comfortable whatever I was asking for. Thank you Luba and all.

It’s good.

It was clean and quiet. Very friendly check & check out staff. The room was fully adequate. No complaints. Lots of restaurants &, shopping within blocks of the hotel. Easy walkable to old town vpcenter. Very close to cape trail train station.

Confusing check in. Novotel is next door - and a member of the staff told us to check in at the property. But the check in WAS ACTUALLY IN NOVOTEL! Lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. The property was clean and tidy although we didn't had any toiletries in the dispensers. The bed was extremely comfy. Perfect location of the hotel

Stayed one night and went elsewhere. The room smelled, was poorly equiped as an apartment, had a leak onto the floor, had a view of adjacent building’s washing, was noisy during the night and had the feel of a cheap hostel. But wasn’t cheap.

The hotel was fit for purpose with a clean and tidy room. The bed was nice and well made up. There was a big window in the room allowing light and fresh air. The room itself was quite small and there was no ventilation in the bathroom, meaning that vapour from the shower caused a smoke alarm to go off. A hotel staff member came up to our room and let himself in to see if it was the shower causing the alarm, which wasn’t ideal. The area is convenient and quite close to restaurants and bars which was good. The hotel itself felt safe and secure. It is not very easy to find, it wasn’t explained that we would need to check in to our hotel using the Novotel reception desk and then walk back to the entrance for our hotel. Parking was also not easy to find so I had to contact the hotel multiple times to get them to explain where the parking underground was. Overall, a good stay which ticked the box but a few more details prior to check in would be helpful.

Great budget stay. Very central

After reading some of the reviews I was reluctant to book this but glad I did. We had a lovely room with little kitchenette. Really clean and great for what we wanted. Staff at Novotel next door were friendly and sorted out a mix up we had upon check in. It’s very central for city and train station and only round the corner from the much more expensive Novotel. The rooms may be noisy if your neighbours are but luckily we were generally ok. Geneva transport card is great for the boats. Nice restaurants nearby plus facility to eat in.

Pick the right room!

Don’t choose the rooms 21, 22, 31 or 32 if you want to sleep. The poor window material lets thru all the shoutings, laughs, music and traffic noise from the street. It is too bad because the tidyness is extreme! It’s also handy to have the fridge & micro oven in the room. A few munutes to Lake Geneva & the city boats, fabulous.
