Excellent view!

Great hotel a short bus ride from the main station. We had a room on the fifth floor, with a great view of the park across the street. Very close to the lake. Nice breakfast.

We had a really pleasant time at Hotel Eden. Our room was clean with a nice view, and the staff were very friendly and nice. The hotel was located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood.

A lovely hotel, well placed near a local train station and bus routes, and a couple of minutes from the lakeside. Ideal if you don't want to stay right in the city centre. Staff were friendly, and the breakfasts were great. Fantastic room, well appointed. Black out blinds would be good though, as would an actual door on the bathroom rather than the translucent sliding glass panel.

Convenient and Comfortable Hotel

Convenient location near Botanic Garden, on bus line to train station and center city or walkable. Breakfast was great; service excellent. We had one delicious dinner there, as well.

A cozy hotel located near the lake with friendly staff and a great breakfast. There are a couple of bus stops near by that take you to pretty much everywhere you can think of in Geneva, including the city centre, the central station and the old city. We enjoyed a comfortable stay there.

Nice hotel for a comfortable stay

This is a nice hotel near the jardín botanique and the lake. Certainly a close walk to the jet (20-30 minutes). Staff was courteous, especially Camille who provided a welcoming smile and lots of tips to enjoy the city including bus and lake taxi routes. Place is a bit outdated but it is kept clean and comfortable.

1).Location - literally 2mins walk from station where you have option of 3 buses. Walk a further 3mins and option of tram. 2).Free Transit card provided by hotel which came in very handy and ensured visiting its of key sites. 3). Facility - Room was not too big it adequate and had all I needed, tv, refrigerator, desk. Breakfast included and although Buffett style, had everything from cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, juice, eggs which you could boil in the boiling pan, different types of bread including, croissants and this wonderful lemon cake and all types of fruits. 4) In house Restaurant - Food in Geneva isn’t great and to get a hotel which serves very great meals, was a bonus. 5) Staff - very friendly and always eager to help.

The staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast are basic, but decent and included in the price. The location is very convenient for UN relatedeetings and events, also super close to the Le Lac park, convenient for jogging, dip in the lake or just a promenade. The hotel also has a small but well equipped gym (which is not common for Geneva, as I understood). Also I got an upgrade on the room I booked, which was a very nice gesture. Overall, would love to stay there again.

At first sight Hotel Eden Geneva is an impressive structure, dignified yet welcoming. Once we got up the front stairs with our bags we were greeted, registered and on our way to our fifth floor room in the cozy but efficient elevator. The receptionist emailed our transport cards-standard issue to all hotel newcomers-so we could begin riding buses, trams, etc., as soon as possible. The cards were in our email inboxes before we got to our room. That was a good thing because we were hungry and wanted to get dinner as soon as we unpacked. Our room featured a king sized bed, a neighborhood view, and was updated in all important ways. There were ample outlets, a hair dryer, bedside tables, a comfortable desk and plenty of storage. The bathroom was updated, water pressure and lighting good, and there was even a makeup mirror. Breakfast was free every day, available from 7:00-10:00 am, and though it is called a cold breakfast, there are options for the guest to make their own pancakes and cook their own eggs and toast. The restaurant is available for dinner most nights. There is a sitting area-lounge with several couches and chairs. There were many choices for places to eat once we hopped on the bus or tram. We easily traveled a short distance to most restaurants, and one morning we ventured to a nearby town to CERN to see that facility. We would definitely stay here again, though we might opt for a view room as the hotel is near the lake.

Clean lovely location great service lake view

Beautiful location not too busy area yet well connected by train and bus. We really enjoyed the location and the peaceful lake and park close by. Also I was able to take direct bus to office and shops and restaurants where we went daily. Old town is easy 20 mins from the hotel also. The breakfast was somewhat basic but good enough I suppose for our stay. The rooms are bit small if you go single but premium rooms are decent good size bathrooms and bed area as well. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are superb and friendly. The staff go beyond to make us comfortable and to help on all issues. I also found that you get free transport card when you book from city of Geneva which is absolutely a gem experience I must say as no other city does that! We loved the mountain and lake view and location.
