"We really enjoyed the stay that was truly a calming one. It was exactly as per the pictures, clean and with a great view from our room! Staff were also friendly and kind, despite a slight language barrier as we did not speak much korean. There are cafes and eateries in walking distance too. "The hostel was in a great location, right on the beach and an easy walk up to Naksansa, as well as a short bus or taxi ride from Yangyang town. The bathrooms however had a lot of mould, and there was almost never anyone at reception to ask for directions, mind your belongings, or even just give general info on the area. Maybe it was off-peak season too, but there was no atmosphere to be found here."

"Overall - it's clean, it's safe, it's warm, and there are lockers - it does the job for "I need to sleep somewhere warm and clean", which is all I needed it to do. It's really hard to find the guesthouse - the address on hotels.com is only written in English, but most of the cab drivers don't speak English. It's a good idea to get the address in Korean.
