From the moment we stepped intk this hotel we were treated like family. This is 130 year old property only 5 min walk from the freiburg bahnhof. Its beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing. We stayed one night and front desk clerk was amazingly helpful. She gave us a map of the city, gave us directions on how to get to the Munsterplatz and where to eat traditional german bratwurst for the black forest. Only one downfall is there is no AC so it did get a bit hot at night but they offer floor fans for the rooms and we were able to leave the large balcony doors and windows ooen fir a nice breeze at night. Otherwise amazing hotel. We would stay there again.
