My son and I stayed here for a 3 day wedding. It was 1/2 way between the 2 locations we needed to be. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and a great location for our venues in Leesburg, VA & Frederick, MD. Although we didn't get to visit the Beacon Bar onsite, it looked like a lot of fun.
Staff was always friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was so comfortable! Loved the shampoo and conditioner :) great water pressure! Awesome pool! Wished the bar stayed open regardless of amount of patrons. Loved free breakfast! We will be back!
This property needs major upgrades in Hallways, bathrooms and rooms. The bar in the back was great and service was great! But please upgrade everything especially the outdoor seating as well.
After an 8 hour drive liked the fact there was a restaurant on the premises. Not the best but OK but did not require any additional driving to eat.. Also stayed there on New Years Day and was so dissapointed the restaurant was closed for the holidys. On both of our stays found the included breakfast to be enjoyable especially how the tables were set up. Did not like there was only 1 desk chair. A lot of places we stay at have both a sitting chair and a desk chair. Plan to return this January 1 on our way to the auto train.
Everything was great. The staff went above and beyond. Even when I came in late the staff took the time to brew a fresh batch of coffee just for me. They answered every question since I was in town to coach in a 17U boys baseball tournament.
