I had a lovely time in Florence and my stay in Hotel Galileo contributed to that. It was my first time in the city and the location of the hotel was spot on easily walkable from the train station and to the tram to the airport. It is a short walk from the landmarks and is never too far from good restaurants. Staff were very helpful, always pleasant!

This was our first trip to Italy, and this was the first hotel we stayed in during our journey. It’s just a short walk from the train station and is close to so many great sites and restaurants. It was easy to navigate the city from here. The room was clean and charming and the breakfast was perfect!

This was a great hotel, I would stay here again. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and kind and the location was great! They let us store our luggage and placed it in our room when it was ready. It’s about a 7 minute walk from train station. The rooms were incredibly spacious. If I could give more stars, I would!

Great location, only around 10 minutes walk to the Duomo. Staff at reception were nice and they let us check-in slightly early as our room was ready. The room itself was clean, a decent size, and modern with a great aircon. Fantastic price for the location and room - would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay close to Santa Maria Novella train station, Duomo Cathedral, Gallery A academia w David, and Central Market. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast, great housekeeping and a very much appreciated water cooler to refill your water bottles as you wish. Stayed 5 nights and would highly recommend.

The property was fairly close to all the major sites and the train station. The rooms are very small, but we didnt stay in them very long, shower-sleep, Nice bathroom w/shower and clean. Could walk to most everything so no real need for taxi. Tram was bout 5 blocks away which took us to day trips. We did not use the breakfast option, didnt look that great, similar to the cheap american hotel breakfasts.
