The room was one of rhe nicer ones on the trip. Small but quite workable for a short stay. We stayed 3 days. Location worked out well as we could easily walk to all of the sites we wanted to see. There is no elevator and you will need to carry your luggage upstairs. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included and the variety was good.

The property is very convenient for access to the central region of Florence. Restaurants, shopping and tourist attractant buildings are readily available and it's close to the main train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I left too early to have breakfast so I cannot comment on this aspect. Rooms are simple but clean and functional. The main drawback is you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to access the hotel,

Breakfast options were limited and the fruit was mushy, coffee tasted burnt. Hotel staff were nice. You have to walk up like 4 flights of stairs to get to the lobby, there’s no elevator.

Great location in Florence

Good place to stay close to everything in Florence. Area was safe. Instructions to get to hotel were clear. Staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. There is no elevator. Make sure you are ready to go up several flights of stairs.

Pros: Very clean; friendly staff; options for luggage storage pre/post check in. Air conditioned!! Cons: Didn’t love the 50 steps up to the check in, or the lack of assistance getting suitcases up or down! Because of the narrow streets, you also need to wheel your bags to and from the train station as it’s not cab friendly. The rooms, and especially the bathrooms, are very small. Breakfast underwhelming.

Hotel Camilla is a classic accommodation, with spacious comfortable rooms, a nice breakfast and great location. Best of all were the staff who were friendly, welcoming and helpful with local recommendations and arrangements. We loved it!
