Gorgeous apartment in a superb location. The hostel kindly allowed us to leave our suitcases in the reception so we could explore Faro before our apartment was ready.

We arrived a little after 6 pm. Their office was closed. Dragged luggage over cobblestones but was unable to connect with them through phone or texting. Finally rented accommodations at another hotel. Would expect a refund and an apology.

Nicely updated apartment.

Communication about how to check-in was non-existent (you actually have to check-in at the hostel around the corner), but once that was sorted out it was a nicely updated apartment. Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. However, the bathroom shower was slow to drain causing minor flooding on the bathroom floor, and the lobby/hallway was an echo chamber so you heard everyone coming & going at all hours. No AC and very little wind on the top floor when the windows were open. Neighbor's dogs barked all the time from their balcony, which faced our bedrooms.

Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed. Apartment is one floor up, stairs only, good to know in case that is an issue with suitcases). It was small, but functional and very nicely decorated. You check in at the hostel to get the keys (1 minute walk) and they are open 24/7.

Très bien situé, à la fois en plein centre mais dans une rue calme. Bien décoré, bien équipé, terrasse au soleil le matin pour un agréable petit déjeuner. Bon accueil, souriant et arrangeant. Bémol pour le ménage: nous sommes restés une semaine, la femme de ménage est « passée » en milieu de semaine, mais elle s’est contentée de prendre nos serviettes de bain (sans en remettre de nouvelles...), le sol est resté sale malgré notre demande à l’accueil de l’hôtel, ce qui nous a gêné pour notre bébé qui se déplace au sol. Et il n’y avait aucun moyen de nettoyer nous même, ni balai ni aspirateur.
