DON’T MISS: Sunday market in Evandale - a cute town only 30 minutes away by public bus (check the schedule), even shorter by car. Also, have breakfast or brunch at “Earthly Eats” on Kingsway, 8 min walk from hotel, great menu + food! "

Rooms close to road are noisy due to Launceston's abundance of motoring enthusiasts with noise enhanced cars. Opened window to try and cool room but of course it is then even noisier. I asked for a room further from the road but was told they were full. "
