"Our only comment that can add to info gatherers is that while it is located close to all the main attractions as described, Istanbul is a hilly city; if you have difficulty walking, the uphill to the nearest tram station can be a challenge. Walking on a flat terrain to the Blue Mosque, etc, can take 18 mins or so. Otherwise, all reviews from other travellers are accurate."

"If you are visiting Istanbul, your travels should take you to Taksim. If so a great stay for the money at Taksim Çetinkaya Suite Hotel. A bit off thhe beaten path but a real taste of the city and easy access to all their is around. Emi (owner) was excellent, provided tea, advice in my travels in the city, and helped me get a taxi set for the airport departure. I only stayed for a 12hr layover but was able to get around to restaurants, bars and clubs in the city. It was an excellent base of...
