"We could not have asked for a better place for our Family to stay. The Location was fantastic. The house itself had everything we needed. We especially loved the deck overlooking the front yard. It was perfect for sitting back relaxing and watching the children play. The BBQ on the deck was an added bonus and made meal prep easy and enjoyable. The house is light and airy with plenty of windows and sliding doors that let in a lovely breeze, with view of the ocean. Bree was an absolute lovely Host, so welcoming on arrival and always helpful. We could sit and chat with Bree for ages. Bree clearly has a passion for the Island and has great insight, respect and knowledge for the environment, habitat and history, this made our stay feel meaningful and not just comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property and stay again."

"Excellent stay! Donna and Fraser were very accomodating and quick in communication. The cottage was clean, well maintained and perfect for a family of 6 staying a week in K’gari. Great outdoor area that was meshed in to allow for seating that was free of flys and other bugs. Very comfortable stay overall. "

"We were pleasantly surprised by this place! It was super clean and welcoming from the start. The layout of the house is awesome for semi separate living with 2 massive bathrooms. The kitchen was more than functional, providing everything needed from spices to tonnes of dinnerware. We enjoyed the space and flow of the sitting areas where we could eat, relax and spend time as a family. The location is a short trip to the main Eurong village and easy enough to plan day trips around the island. Thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring and returning back to this place after a big day in the sun! Highly recommend. "

"Basing your adventures on K’gari at King Fisher Bay in the Pandanus Holiday Villas hosted by Melanie and Adam is one of the best holiday decisions you can make. The Villas are set within a forest overlooking the bay and you are sure to be visited by kingfishers in the late afternoon on the back deck. If you bring a 4WD or hire one near the villa, you can be sure you’ll see the best of this incredibly idyllic and pristine island which has heritage listed forests, perched lakes and fascinating wildlife. There are well signposted treks and places of historic interest including ship wrecks and great places to swim. Don’t let the driving on sand put you off, it’s an amazing place you’ll fall in love with and return to. We had the best stay, our accomodation was outstanding, thank you so much, the attention to detail made all the difference. We arrived in a heat wave but the house is designed for all temperatures so it was comfortable and spacious. We wanted for nothing and there are restaurants and a shop within a short walk but far enough away that you feel separate from the activity of the small settlement in the bay. Enjoy your K’gari holiday, just do it. "

"The Taxi House was amazing!!! The house is large enough for a couple of families or a group like we had. Plenty of bedrooms with the 2 sleepouts. Nice sized kitchen & being in Eurong 2nd valley, it was super close to the resort for food options if/when required & is also close to the access for the inland tracks. The house was clea & tidy. The area is very quiet so great to sit back & relax. Easy walk to the beach for fishing."
