Sehr gut und freundlich

Wir wurden herzahft empfangen. Das Zimmer so wie das ganze Hotel war sauber und schön. Angebote im Hotel waren auch zahlreichen (zb. Sauna, Fitnessraum,...). Auf anfrage durften wir ohne Probleme etwas länger bleiben, als check out eigentlich war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Im groß und ganzen ein sehr schönes Hotel. Ich würde sofort wieder kommen.

Als Zwischenübernachtung oder Kurzaufenthalt OK. Allerdings könnte man an der Isolierung arbeiten. Die Bundesstraße führt direkt vor dem Haus vorbei.

Family room near to Salzburg by car

The room was very nice and was spacious enough for 4 adults. It was however very hot in the room as we were visiting in the middle of a heatwave in Europe and the was no air-conditioning (a fan was supplied). The road outside was busy but the sound of the fan helped drown out the road noise as we had to have the windows open. I would stay there again but maybe not if the weather was exceptionally hot.

Prima verblijf met 15 cm sneeuw als cadeau.

Typisch Oostenrijks landhotel, mooi gelegen, prima onderhouden en aardig personeel. Mooie ruime kamer, van alle comfort voorzien. Ontbijt was prima: vers en voldoende. En wakker worden met 15 cm sneeuw als uitzicht is natuurlijk geweldig; een aanrader!

Noisy! Most disappointing hotel of my vacation.

I was looking for a nice, quiet place not far from Salzburg. According to the pictures, The hotel itself was nice enough. The staff was friendly. The problem was that the hotel sits not a stone's-throw away from a VERY busy highway. Definitely not peaceful unless you like the constant whoosh of heavy traffic. Also, the room had no air-conditioning, so we could either leave the window open and deal with the noise, or close the window and deal with a very stuffy room. The nice balcony I hoped to use to enjoy the scenery, opened out to the view of the highway. Also, the occupants of the room next to us used the table on the balcony for their smoke breaks... and they smoked a lot. Since the balcony is shared by everyone on the same floor, folks can walk past your room at any time, so privacy isn't all that great. In addition, as we were preparing for the day, housekeeping opened our door at 7:00 a.m. without knocking or announcing themselves. I happened to be standing by the bathroom door, half dressed, as the door opened. I had to push it closed as the person on the other side continued to try to open it. NOT PLEASANT! We didn't eat breakfast there since they wanted 10 Euros per person. We arrived on a Sunday evening & discovered the restaurant across the street is closed on Sundays. There is another restaurant, a 15 minute walk away. The bus from the station takes 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Cost per ticket 3.60 euros.
