Riad calme et idéalement placé dans la médina

Ce Riad est idéalement placé dans la médina d'Essaouira. On peut laisser sa voiture dans le parking à proximité de la porte bab Marrakech puis marcher 5 minutes pour atteindre le Riad. Le Riad est très beau, avec tout le charme des riad au Maroc. Il est également très calme. Nous étions en famille et avions réservé deux chambres qui étaient plutôt propres et bien décorées. Le petit déjeuner servi sur le toit terrasse est copieux et varie tous les jours. Le seul petit problème de ce riad est qu'il est pourvu d'une verrière fermant le patio qui ne permet pas une ventilation correcte et par conséquent retient l'humidité. Dans l'une des chambres que nous avions réservée cela se ressentait beaucoup. Cette verrière peut s'ouvrir mais elle ne l'était pas lors de notre séjour. Mais ce n'est pas cela qui a gâche notre séjour dans ce magnifique et paisible riad.

No room -l said they don't use ebookers!?!

By the time they finished phoning their friends to find us a room elsewhere it was late and we had to pay their friends road more. They said they were booked out since 3 days before and that they don't use ebookers. There were still 2 rooms available at their hotel on ebookers that evening.

Geniales Hotel mit super Personal

Ich war mit einem Freund im Riad Etoile de Magador und es hat uns beiden super gefallen! Das Frühstück war jeden morgen Frisch zubereitet und uns auf die Dachterasse gebracht worden. Zudem half uns das Personal beim Organisieren einer Quad Tour.

On arrival they where in the middle of painting and after checking in we walked up the very narrow stairs and I got my shirt covered in paint.Hot water was hit and miss.The lights in the room where really dim so it was impossible to read. I personally would never stay there again I have stayed in better and cheaper places in Essaouira. Now that being said there was a young couple there who tried extremely hard to try and make our stay more pleasant and their breakfast was good.

Nice riad close to SupraTours station

Nice riad in the medina, close to bus station. Owners/managers/housekeeper are pleasant and attentive to things needing repair (like the shower head and the lamp). Breakfast was good and served on the rooftop deck.

Nice spacious room. Breakfast served anywhere we wished. Had it on the roof terrace. If you are looking for a nice view this is not the place to go as it is down an alleyway in the Madina. Met our expecarions for a budget hotel.

Ligger i en rolig sidegate til hovedgata i gamlebyen og hyggelig betjening. Litt snaut med bare og appelsinmarmelade som pålegg til frokosten, men ellers bra riad. Wi-fi kun midt i resepsjonen, ikke på rommene eller takterrassen.

Hotel mit Ambiance in der Medina

Wir verbrachten 4 Naechte im Riad Etoile Mogador. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr guten Lage. Taxis, Strand und Stadtzentrum sind in etwa 15 min erreichbar. Das Hotel ist gut geleitet und das Hotelteam war aeusserst hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und zweckmaessig eingerichet. Schoener Dachgarten und gutes Fruehstueck. Ein geeignetes Hotel fuer Familien.

Emplacement exceptionnel

Mon fils et moi sommes restés qu'une seule nuit dans ce Ryad et nous garderons un très bon souvenir même si notre séjour fut court. L'accueil très sympa avec de bons renseignements sur la ville, le petit déjeuner parfait sur une jolie terrasse très bien exposé avec une belle vue sur Essaouira. La chambre était agréable et le lit confortable. Je recommande donc cet hôtel, on peut y séjourner en toute confiance.

See view from the terrace

The staff was pleasant, and there was a sea view from the terrace. It was very cute inside, but the beds were rock hard. I like a firm mattress, so it is saying something when I complain about a bed being hard. During this trip, we visited Fes and Marrakesh also, and Essouira was by far our favorite location. The medina is a little less crowded. The shops are a little less pushy... And it has the ocean.

Il soggiorno è stato ottimo: economico, personale gentile e disponibile (anche se la maggior parte parlava solo qualche parola di francese), buona posizione in un quartiere tranquillo, stanza pulita; il tutto in un palazzo molto bello e caratteristico che ci è piaciuto veramente un sacco!

a bit disappointed by the mini-suite

I have booked the mini-suite in order to spend two nights with my wife in Essaouira. First of all, the service was excellent, the personnel are very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The condition of the Riad was good (not very good but good), the furniture seemed a bit old but that's ok. The room was very clean but it was very tight and not well ventilated (there is only one little window above the bed, and no window in the bathroom). Also, the wi-fi signal was so weak that we couldn't use it in the room, you can only use it five meters away of the reception desk. The Riad location was good, right in the old medina and close to the main avenue. Finally, this Riad is fair, I was really disappointed by the bathroom, the tightness of the room and the wi-fi. But as I mentionned there were some good points which give this Riad a good value for money.
