Riad in the Medina

Great little find. The staff was friendly and helpful, speaking to us in English, French and Spanish [multi-lingual group]. Staff helped us with directions as well as organize long-distance taxi services. Breakfast comprised of a series of breads and coffee/tea. The building, which appears to be rather other but well-kept, is located near one of the entrances of the medina. The rooms were comfortable, although the blankets seemed a little musty. There is hot water, but I believe it sometimes runs out [the first night, there was no hot water, but it was great a few hours later in the morning. Great value--would definitely return.

Rapport qualité prix parfait le seul petit souci que j'ai trouvé c'est que ma chambre manquée d'aération ce qu'il provoque une odeur de renfermé.. Faites comme moi restez qu'une nuit ou revenez que la nuit pour dormir lol.

Fantastic riad, 3rd visit to stay here!

This was my 3rd trip to Essaouira and my 3rd time staying at Riad Chakir Mogador. I love the ambience and atmosphere here, it's run by friendly Moroccans who are really professional and speak fluent english. The only thing that was annoying was that people would come in at night and start shouting stuff like "have you seen my key?!" and "OK see you in the morning!" in the communal areas and stairways, the riad has no windows so ALL rooms can here EVERYTHING you're saying even on the top floor. This isn't the riad's fault but they should put signs up downstairs to tell people to keep their voices down at night

Location was perfect, it was in medina, and you can get to beach easily and breakfast was good, only bread with butter and jam a bit, orange juice is fresh. And staff was friendly but room was narrow, someone may think it is stuffy

La chambre était bien tenue quoiqu'un peu petite. Bonne literie. Belle salle de bains, propre, un peu petite aussi. Joli riad situé à deux pas des rues principales. Petit déjeuner en rooftop,plutôt bon. Amplement suffisant pour un séjour court.

Bien placé, et acueil super gentil

L'hotel est bien placé en ce sens qu'il est dans un quartier super calme (sans circulation de voiture) et a 5 minutes de la place centrale à pied. Revers de la médaille : un taxi ne peut vous y déposer directement à la porte. Les chambres sont jolies et les sanitaires tres propres. Elles donnent sur la cour centrale. Il suffirait qu'un client soit tres bruyant pour que les chambres le deviennent. Il est possible de manger sur place, en prévenant à l'avance, mais le menu est cher. L'acueil est d'une incroyable gentillesse, si bien que l'on est revenu plus tard dans cet hotel.

ein sehr schön eingerichtetes hotel mitten in der medina und 5min zum strand. WLAN im zimmer wäre noch schön und das duschwasser kommt sehr spärlich. dafür sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. unschlagbares preis leistungsferhältnis.
