"This is probably one of the best experiences that I have had whilst travelling. Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. First and foremost, the guesthouse owner, who speaks very good English, was very kind and drove me around the whole day. "Atmosphere is amazing!! Your shoes will be stored at the locker at the lobby, going around the tatami floor of the entire building makes me feels like at home. Room and areas through out the hotel is clean and nice. Onsen is top notch. Also a free late night Ramen per night of stays was delicious. However, laundry (drying machine) instruction in english is not correct, plus most front desk personnel does not understand english, which created a bit of a run around to get things right. "

"The facilities and services are great. Big main Onsen Bath, along with great souvenirs shop & free wine/sake offer to hotel guesses between 5-6pm. Staffs are very polite and fluent in English. Happy with the stay. We enjoy very much. "

"Nice overnight stay in a traditional old ryokan. Last-minute booking ended us up in an awkwardly tiny room but the Onsen was lovely and good breakfast. Hostess was very helpful finding us a dinner spot. Handy location near the beach."
