Amazing place

I would recommend this lovely pub and hotel to anyone, staff was so lovely and welcoming the room was up there with the best ive stay in, and absolutely spotless with a queen size bed 10/10

We srrived for a two night stay from the moment we arrived all staff where very friendly Room was spotless and really well set out (room 8) Ethan checked us in and gave us some local knowledge to asssit with our visit Charlie the chef was great with my son as he is a fussy eater went above and beyond to cater for him the manager Jacob made our stay hassle free and we will make sure to return to this hotel next year when back to london card show from which is less than 5 min walk from this hotel

Lovely staff, but a disappointing stay

Unfortunately my stay here was not the greatest. The rooms are looking shabby, the bed is possibly the most uncomfortable I've slept on (with pretty much non-existent pillows), and the food was poor (cold soup and 'sourdough bruschetta' which turned out to be a toasted piece of packaged sliced bread with barely cooked pan fried peppers & onions). Disappointing. The staff were lovely though - which is why I'm ashamed to say I didn't bring up the problems at the time.

WORST ROOM IVE EVER STAYED IN BY FAR!!! V V V LOUD

Lovely staff, lovely room but total utter disaster of a stay!!! I’ve travelled ALOT! This has to be the worst room EVER!!!! What seemed like right on top of a karaoke bar! I had earplugs but you could still feel the base thumping through the floor until midnight! I may aswell have gone down stairs & tried to sleep on the dance floor!!!

Good value and in a convenient location.

All the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable but looked a little tired. A couple of the lights were fiddly to switch on and even with all lights on the room it was a little gloomy as the curtains needed to be kept drawn for privacy as the room looked directly out onto the road junction where cars where stopped at the traffic lights outside. As expected in an older property floors were uneven and creaky, but that meant early departures/late arrivals were rather noisy. Nice toiletries and refreshments provided. Very hot at night unless you remembered to adjust the air-con unit. Parking space was a bonus.

This has so much potential. The welcome was lovely, but the first thing we were told, after being given our key was that the battery was dying on the pad, so we would have to tap it 3 times. The room was spacious, with a ridiculous full mini fridge- only alcohol no other space! The toilet roll holder was broken and missing. The bed was very comfortable. The shower, really did not work; there was no power; it would not stay up, kept dropping down - very disappointing. We had breakfast, which was good, but the grapes that were on the table were mouldy. None of the plates from previous guests had been cleared away on 3 tables, leaving us with no choice where to sit.

Lovely stay in a lovely hotel/pub

Lovely hotel/pub. Despite the rooms being above a pub you cannot hear any noise from the pub in the evening. All staff are very friendly.
