The Inn at Moonlight Beach is a peaceful little paradise just a few blocks from the beach. Our stay was the most relaxing we had in a very long time! The Inn is a wellness center running on 90% solar energy, harvesting their own fruits and erbs, and serving a delicious, farm to table healthy breakfast to your door every morning. We'll definitely go back!

We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay here. The rooms are serene, the grounds are beautifully kept, and the staff was sweet and accommodating. When we arrived, there was a pot of tea waiting for us, as well as a vase of flowers and little tea lights flickering all over our room. Yes, it's near the train crossing, but with the white noise machine blowing ocean sounds and the triple pane windows shut, you really don't hear any of that. Would 100% return!

Lovely Peaceful Property

Lovely property, actually better in person! Friendly hospitable & accomodating staff. Arrival and registration was tedious and time consuming. We were prompted upon arrival to complete breakfast menu selections. I understood breakfast was included in with the room price, therefore, very surprised to get billed significant added amount for breakfast. Understood that butter and other condiments could be chosen at added cost.

My partner and I had an incredible 3 night stay. We booked the Sage room-that included its own balcony with a dinette and lounge sofa. A comfy king size bed, and an epic bathroom including a shower with impressive water pressure and a huge tub. The room was so inviting and smelled so fresh. We both agreed we haven’t felt more relaxed in a hotel room before. We loved the breakfast basket that was delivered to the room-we both chose chefs choice. The basket had quality healthy, feel good foods and fresh juices to get us ready for our day. I highly recommend adding the Well Delighted Full Moon Package-we chose the meat and cheese charcuterie board and everything on it was great quality, plus it was special to start our trip popping a bottle of champagne and a charcuterie board on the balcony seating. I highly recommend staying here. It was such a unique experience. We will absolutely stay here again.

Had the best stay here. It’s an oasis and the little touches like the delicious local coffee, wonderful bath products and comfortable bed were really nice. Only two things that were not perfect: they only offer room service after 4 night stay. One reason I like a hotel over an air bb is so I feel like the room is fresh and cleaned when I get back at end of day. Also, was a bit noisy one afternoon - there was a kid on a loud motorbike going around in loops right next the property for an hour in the evening while we were sitting in our outdoor deck area. I realize it’s not the hotels fault but it was def ruining the peaceful mood and worth mentioning. Other than that it was such a wonderful experience. The common room with healthy snacks was a nice touch. There was always parking available and the quality of the linens was nice.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in quite awhile. First, I always seek out rooms with kitchenettes which these rooms have. The garden setting is so serene and close walk to Moonlight Beach and downtown Encinitas is ideal. This hotel goes above and beyond with so many little touches from afternoon and evening to, welcoming you to your room with candles, treats, and tea. Then herbal bath and spa robes and the most amazing breakfast delivered to your door in a cute picnic basket. They also have fun activities for the kids like rock painting, art night, and garden harvesting. Truly a special place!

My Girlfriend and I stayed two nights and were completely relaxed when we checked out. The soap making class was fun and educational, and we enjoyed a massage as well. The snacks and teas are all delicious. The bed was a bit low for older folks, but very comfortable. I don’t usually carry cash, and have trouble with Venmo, so tipping has been complicated, but that’s just a “me” thing ( don’t worry guys, I haven’t forgotten you)

I can see why they have such high ratings. Very thought-out details. BEAUTIFUL and peaceful. Exactly the place to recharge. Healthy clean food snacks and breakfast provided. I lost weight and my blood sugar levels were the best that I have ever seen.....can't wait to go back.
