Stripped out “pet friendly” rooms

“Pet friendly” rooms were stripped out normal rooms. Wood floor, one bed without bedspread or blankets, one chair (other chair and table removed) - fridge and shelving removed from cabinets. Also security lock disabled. This is a pet owner and animal - not a lion with tamer! Really unacceptable accommodation for a public hotel. Don’t stay here with a pet

Horrible Stay

First all it was deserted and there was no one there to take us a check in. We have to go to the hotel next-door. Then when we get into the room, there’s no hot water. It was ridiculous. Under construction or whatever just close until your staffed and ready.

Hunting weekend stay

Our stay was great. The hotel is an older remodeled hotel, but has a great price, clean, quiet and simple. Our room had plenty of hot water, refrigerator, coffee pot (you will need to bring your own coffee) and microwave. We had stayed at the Oyo, same owner, same property previously in the month and it is just as nice. Perfect for what you need no extra frills, but we did not need it. I would recommend it, the gentleman Jose who checked us in both times was very nice and friendly.

The office was locked up. We had to go to the hotel next door to sign in. No breakfast as was advertised. TV did not work. Three lights in room did not work. Dirty ring in the toilet. Coffee pot in room was broken. A couple of dead crickets in bathroom corners. The WiFi is not on a secure setting. The outside had over grown weeds all over the property.

Do mot recommend

From the coffee pot with a water ring and dirty to the water in the sink coming out cloudy, I can not recommend. The heater had to burn off the dust and then it quit blowing heat. Checking in was rather difficult as we rang the bell, the desk was a mess with open chip bags and papers. Checking out at 9:45 am was difficult since 2 other guests were waiting even after ringing the bell I knocked on the private door and the same guy who checked us in finally came out with the same clothes on from the day before when he checked us in.

It started badly. I had to go next door to check in. Once in the room, the tv remote was missing and the refrigerator didn't work. I tried to call the office to report and just was disconnected. I had to go back next door to report the issues. The manager brought a different refrigerator and remote promptly. However, when I started to shower it took 22 minutes for the hot water to be warm.

When we arrived, the hotel lobby was dark, locked, and had a handwritten 'no vacancy' sign taped to the door. They could not be reached by telephone. We ended up driving around to find a hotel room. We will never use Expedia again. Terrible experience.

This is a 2 star property at best with only the bare minimum of amenities. Despite what is shown in the pictures online, this is an older property that has not been well maintained or recently refurbished. The room flooring was in obvious need of cleaning - it had been vacuumed, but the carpet needed to be cleaned. The bathroom had a lot of issues. There were signs of water damage around the tub enclosure, the tile was missing grout in several places, the tissue box in the vanity was empty, and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. Pluses were that the toilet flushed well and all the linens were very clean. I would not stay here again.

There’s no cable TV in this property, every room has a smart tv so unless you want to log into your Hulu/Netflix you can’t watch anything. If there’s incoming storms (it’s Oklahoma, it happens a lot) you wouldn’t know what’s going on because there’s no local stations to watch to keep an eye on the weather. When I checked in the person was hassling me on how much I paid (because I used Expedia points) and acted like he didn’t want to check me in because I didn’t pay the full $50 or whatever the room was. No hair dryer in the bathroom, even tho it says there is one. Ice machine was dirty, had to go buy ice at a quick shop. There’s trash all over the parking lot. Most exterior lights didn’t work very well. Will not stay here again.

This property is exactly what you’re looking for when traveling a long distance and need a reasonably priced room for the night. Quiet property, great service, a fridge and microwave, and lots of Doordash options. Also east to get back on the highway. 👍

Just don't...

We should have known by the rudeness of the woman who checked us in! We walked in, took one look at the room, walked out, and got a hotel elsewhere. This is what you would call a "flea-bag" motel - it was dirty, stinky, and we could literally see the bugs flying around!

Road trip ready

Check in and out was easy. Staff was kind. Looked like they were in the middle of updating the hotel and the one next door to it. Only down side was the mattress was not the best, but for a quick stay on a road trip it worked.
