"It would have been 5 stars if I didnt get bite by a centipede in bed. Overall, its a hidden oasis and highly recommend this place. Just make sure you have a first aid kit handy, i was bitten in the wee hours of the morning when no one is awake."

"Staff was terriffic, room was clean, property was great - only reasons for 4 vs. 5 stars: There was still a good deal of construction and noise happening, because of the earthquake recovery efforts. (Some drilling/grinding upstairs from my room, and chiseling and hammering for installation of new pavers by the pool) but to be expected given the situation when only 17 of 100+ rooms are in operation! Also, the front approach/sign could have used a bit of cleaning/pressure washing and the breakfast buffet lacked sliced cheese (only cubed brie - difficult to make a sandwich with, and I'm a damn Yankee who likes his breakfast sandwiches!) 😁 The staff were always on-point, the welcome was great and the front-of-house manager was very professional and personable - and keen to share many property details. My nitpick with him: after the time he said he'd spent in Vanuatu (3 years) it would have been nice for him to functionally speak some Bislama - especially with so many locals under him. Overall, a reasonable value/stay in post-quake Port Vila. "

"Accommodations were great and the breakfast was excellent. The two bedroom garden view apartment is spacious and clean. The only negative aspect would be one AC for the entire apartment wasn’t adequate to cool the bedrooms to a comfortable sleeping temperature."

"Staying in a traditional hut, no aircon but the windows and fan did an amazing job, they supplied all things for bug from spray, mozzie candle to net over the bed. The staff there is amazing! Isabella and her team are wonderful and so friendly to ask any questions! Definitely take part their cultural dinner night where you try kava that is really nice! Fire night friday and you can have a walking tour Monday or Friday. I can’t explain how amazing this place is and I can’t wait to go back! "

"Overall is very run down compared to photos. Sheets were dirty for the first 2 days on arrival. Floors were dirty. No working shower, no hot water. Kitchen barely has any food on menu never in stock or limited choices. Bed was extremely noisy. Pillows were awful we got very sore necks and back and we aren’t old. Rust present in bathroom. Mould in bathroom. Room smells musky like mould. Village across is very noisy. They leave big outdoor lights on that shine right through the windows while trying to sleep at night. All mesh on windows had holes so got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes. Place is not as advertised at all. Pool is a lot smaller than pictured. Owner walks around the place and should be ashamed of himself! Taking people’s money when place is nothing like photos. This place is disgusting and not want you want on a holiday! Would never recommend this place to anyone! We walked out and went to stay at another place plus they refuse a refund of course."
