The staff was so kind and greeted us right away assisting with our bags and offering us a beverage upon arrival. We were exhausted after the walk from the train station and they helped us get settled and take our bags so we could settle for a bit and then sight see till our room was ready. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and the staff was great. However, if you stay here on the weekend, prepare to be kept awake by loud EDM until 3am. Even earplugs couldn’t drown it out. I think the hotel is right next to a nightclub. It might not be every room, but it certainly was ours.

The room was clean and the staff is friendly and nice and they had great suggestions for places to eat and to visit. Just keep in mind the "ground" floor in this hotel in floor number 6 so if you like to get a good view i believe it's better to book rooms in the upper floors. Overall, the hotel have a perfect locations where you are on the famous Victoria street directly and close to Edinburgh castle and have alot of good restaurants around it. Would definitely come back again to stay here.
