The property was good value for money for Edinburgh during the festival. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet and the shower good. The location, close to Holyrood Palace is excellent.
The staff were very nice and friendly and the room was clean. We had a great view from our room.

Convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Edinburgh. Can’t beat the price. It was student dorm accommodations, so keep that in mind but it was just fine for a couple nights of sleep and the student staff were kind and helpful!
The bed was comfortable and I appreciated USB plugs in the headboard (the only place over 7 stays where I saw them). It was very clean and I appreciated the self catering kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and microwave.
Conveniently located for the City Centre. Good value for Edinburgh.

The 2-bed rooms have bunk beds.

"I stayed at this hostel for three weeks during my placement. The rooms were clean, staff friendly, and the location was perfect—close to transport and eateries. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. Great value for money. I’d definitely recommend it for short or long stays

affordable but sparse room for the fringe festival
This was what we were expecting, sparse but affordable accommodations during the fringe festival. It was a 20-25 minute walk to festival venues (or a 10 minute bus ride). Tight for two people, but was clean and staff were friendly. There's a friendly pub (The Regent) a few minutes away, that we used for common space as the rooms are so small. We had a lovely view of Arthur's Seat.
The room was very clean and thought it was next to the kitchen and it was very noisy we liked it. However, the best was the fantastic, friendly and amazing staff.always there was someone at the reception willing to assist and be useful. Incredible people, congratulations
The room was small but looked exactly like the picture in the ad. The staff was very helpful! 5/5 stars!

Basic facilities, fairly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The doors are quite noisy if you let them slam shut (which is easy to do). The location is quite convenient and fairly close to the city centre.
A good stay at the Destiny Student accomodation.
Check in was easy, most of it done before arrival.
Room was nice, clean, basic but good.
Only 15 minutes walk from train station, a few minutes from Hollyrood and the Scottish parliament builds.
Would use this again, different from a 5 star hotel but gives you more money to spend on activities
