"I stayed at this hostel for three weeks during my placement. The rooms were clean, staff friendly, and the location was perfect—close to transport and eateries. affordable but sparse room for the fringe festival

This was what we were expecting, sparse but affordable accommodations during the fringe festival. It was a 20-25 minute walk to festival venues (or a 10 minute bus ride). Tight for two people, but was clean and staff were friendly. There's a friendly pub (The Regent) a few minutes away, that we used for common space as the rooms are so small. We had a lovely view of Arthur's Seat.

A good stay at the Destiny Student accomodation. Check in was easy, most of it done before arrival. Room was nice, clean, basic but good. Only 15 minutes walk from train station, a few minutes from Hollyrood and the Scottish parliament builds. Would use this again, different from a 5 star hotel but gives you more money to spend on activities
