"Bon accueil au niveau de l'hôtel en contre bas , sanitaires et cuisine partagée très propre(attention pas de frigo). Le hatig bar en dessous est sympa mais manque de vie. Il y a une supérette et une piscine dans le village. Ce que nous déplorons c'est la qualité du logement, vieux draps, couvertures pas très propres. Et surtout un manque d'entretien ,pour une bâtisse en bois et au vue des conditions météo de la région, un entretien plus rigoureux doit être apporté. De l'eau s'est infiltrée par...

"We were supposed to be staying in the annex, but they moved us into the main building and gave us two rooms instead of one room, which was actually great. The northern lights we viewed from this location were absolutely insane. There are no televisions in the rooms, so if you fall asleep to a TV, you're gonna have to find something else to do. The staff was very nice, but breakfast was definitely lacking from the rest of our other breakfasts in our Iceland trip. With all that being said, I would definitely stay here again just because the owner was very nice."

"this was a highlight of our stay in Iceland. Our room was spacious and in one of their three buildings .close by was another location that had laundry and kitchen facilities available to guests. We were able to do a couple of loads of washing which was very welcomed. We were also able to have our own breakfast which was more economical. Dinner at the Aldan and Skaftfell restaurants are superb. Highly recommend this place as a stop in the eastern fjords. "
