"The house is very comfortable and the kitchen was quite well equipped. One thing lacking though was placemats for the dining table, and we were told to use the pot holders for protecting the table. Also, the 4 slice toaster only worked for 2 slices as it had been damaged on one side, so that wasn't great when there's 6 people.The décor is very tasteful, however there could be a few more pieces of furniture than just the basics. It would also have been nice to have a coffee table in the living room for our drinks and snacks. A coffee table in the lower level games room would also be useful and maybe put a cabinet under the TV to store the games instead of them just being piled on the floor. We really didn't spend much time in that room though as it was too cold to sit down there for any length of time. All in all, we enjoyed our relaxing Haliburton break with family. "

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind.Peter and Codi were prompt and clear in their communication, making check-in simple and hassle-free. The cottage felt private yet accessible—with a dock, a canoe/paddle boat, and even a bunkie adding extra flexibility.Whether lounging inside or exploring the area, we felt at home right away. It’s a wonderful place for friends or family looking to enjoy the Haliburton Highlands. Highly recommended."

"The property was well stocked and we were made to feel most welcome, with wine, s'mores makings, all of the staples you'd need. The owners, who have a place next door are very friendly and came over and started our fires, invited us to use all of the water toys (and there are lots), and made sure we had everything we needed. While the boating can be busy in front of the cottage, we spent a couple of hours at a great little sandbar directly across, and kayaked through to the larger lake."
