Casa DeDe, Classic Bahamian Home with Panoramic Views of the Ocean

A beautifully decorated and recently updated (2025) beach house with all the amenities that would make anyone want to stay longer! All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Very private and comfortable. There are 2 master suites.

With views of the entire ocean and the beach only a few steps away, step into paradise! Rental includes daily housekeeping and beach chair and umbrella set-up. Enjoy making meals in our completely renovated kitchen.

4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, 2 half baths, outdoor shower. Pool and recently added covered patio with outdoor bar. Generator to ensure no power outages, which are common on the island.

We also offer discounts on golf cart rentals with Ashley's Rentals. Please inquire upon booking for a discount code.

Family Getaway

This location was a dream. Perfect accommodations for a family or multiple families. House manager and house keeper were friendly and attentive. Great location with easy access to the beach or town. Hopefully will be able to stay again next year!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views!

This beautiful and comfortable home is at the top of Juicy Hill, which gave us amazing views of the ocean. Seven of us stayed here and there were lots of places for us all to gather, and lots of places to sit alone and relax and read. The beach is just steps away and the houseman is so helpful and available. This was a wonderful place to spend our vacation - thank you!

Beautiful Home

This is a beautifully appointed home with everything you need. Very comfortable bed with great A/C. 100 steps to beach sand (I counted). Great views from balcony and living area. Care takers are super helpful and friendly.

The house is perfect for all ages. We had 3 couples and 2 - 20 something’s and it worked very well. The staff is very friendly and the communication was seamless. This is our third stay at this home. We highly recommend.

Great House and Location

The house was very comfortable for our family of 8. Joseph and Jill were both very nice and helpful during our stay. The host William communicated well and provided us with all that was needed. We have been coming to the island for many years and would definitely stay at Casa Del Mar/Casa DeDe again. The generator and water tanks with filter systems are a must have when staying on the island!

Great House

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and stay. Very short walk to an incredible beach and easy access to everything on island. The Property Manager was very responsive to any questions that we had. The only downside was construction on the house next door but we ended up barely noticing.

Amazing Trip

Casa De De is perfect for family and friends. This our 4th time staying at the house and just love it. We cooked every night with the help from property manager Joe. We caught 18 yellow fin TUNA ! Joe helped us with expanding our dining room table and made sure we had plenty propane for the grill. Housekeeping by Jill is like family. We enjoy her company and her knowledge of the Island. The beach is with in a 5 min walk and is private. I thank the Owners and the staff We will be back soon Thank you John L

Perfection!

Casa DeDe is a gorgeous home! Joseph was wonderful and always had a lovely beach set-up ready for our crew on our beach days. The housekeeping team was respectful and always arrived on time. The home is so well-equipped with all your needs. The purified water at the kitchen sink is such a nice thing to have access to!!! It eliminates the need to keep track of and have water jugs swapped out. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with gorgeous bougainvillea setting the scene around the pool area. All of the beds are super comfy and to have two washers and two dryers speeds up the laundry process for our large family! We have been coming to HI for 14 yrs but this is our first stay at this home. We LOVED it and we will be back to Casa DeDe!

Ladies Trip

Casa Del Mar was a lovely, beautifully appointed home. The location was great with spectacular views of the ocean, with a short walk to the beach and a quick golf cart trip to town. This home had everything we needed, from a beautiful pool, lots of outside seating to very comfortable beds! The 8 ladies who stayed at Casa Del Mar loved every thing about this home!

The house is exactly what is advertised plus more. Views are great and the privacy makes it relaxing. With convenient beach access plus the pool you have the best of both worlds on those windy days. Get a reliable golf cart the road is steep.

Fantastic House, Great Location, Amazing Beach

Casa Del Mar is a great beach house located in a nice neighborhood that is close to Dunmore Town, but secluded and private. The beach is spectacular and located a minute walk down a path. Plus, the house's pool was a nice way for our kids to start / end their day after playing in the waves. The owner is super responsive and was able to provide us (first-timers) with lots of good advice re: the island, etc... The same goes for the house manager / cleaners - great job all-around. This place is awesome.

Everything we wanted and more

Case Del Mar is absolutely a gem. The property is beautiful, the view is spectacular, the house spacious and all bedrooms were quiet when someone went to bed earlier than others. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was plenty of beach gear in the garage. Julie was easy to plan with before we arrived (giving a detailed list of where to go and what to do) and Joseph, the property manager, and Jill, the housekeeper, were very friendly and easy to coordinate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Harbour Island Spot

Can't imagine a more perfect place to stay on Harbour Island. Casa Del Mar's location and layout were ideal for our two families and the host and house manager were incredibly helpful leading up to - and during our stay. Steps from the quieter part of the beach, and minutes to town by golf cart, the house was ideally situated on the island. The spacious primary suites were lovely and the children loved their large shared balcony - it because their playroom for our stay. The house manager arranged golf carts, cooks, a boat charter - even a pilates instructor. The decor was chic without feeling fussy and linens and furnishing were all extremely comfortable. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic property, great stay, we'll be back!

Casa Del Mar is a gorgeous home. Different from a lot of rental homes, this actually felt like a home. The furnishings were high quality, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils for making full meals (and drinks). There were two drip coffee makers and Nespresso machine. An under-sink reverse osmosis system provides endless drinking water. A well-furnished wrap-around porch provides great views of the ocean, and a view of the pool and garden. Our kids were thrilled with the all of the beach toys and boogie boards, and the adults were very happy to have high-quality umbrellas and chairs available (though if one doesn't want to set up beach dwellings, one can use one of the beach chair services like Ms. V's). Bedding was also high quality and the amount of living space was plenty sufficient for two families of four each, with ages ranging from 6 to 12. There is a master bedroom on the main floor with the kitchen and living room, with double doors providing excellent sound isolation from those areas. The floor below has the kids' rooms and another master bedroom, and the bottom floor is a utility floor, with washer/dryer. Communications with the owner were fast and easy. My only recommendation would be to dial up the heat a bit on the showers! We had a great stay, and highly recommend Casa Del Mar!
