I stayed there 11.11.2025 - 12.12.2025 and liked it. Very good staff and was surprised that they remember my room number. I had my trousers laundered and when it was returned I asked where I could buy a small sewing kit so I could fix a button I had teard off by accident. He went back and after few minuters he had fixed without extra charge. I often took the metro which was about one km from hotel.

Staff was great, especially Monika at the front desk. However, the property is showing its age. The non-renovated rooms were worn out and in need of complete redo. We were first given such a room and switched to a slightly smaller renovated room, which was brighter and had hard wood floors and far better. However, the materials used (e.g. closet) were cheap and workmanship in the room was not great and will not last well. Having an espresso machine was a positive. We also dined at the Asian restaurant which was ok. Once upon a time the hotel restaurants were quite good.

The food was excellent every day. The desk staff was so helpful, from getting cars to taking us the several days of sights, to offering advise and savings on local purchases. I was trilled with the choices of TV from DW and BBC and CNN. Thank you for that. That alone is worth coming back to your hotel. I have been at very nice hotels around the world, but if I cannot get DW and BBC, I do not return to that hotel. The lobby, restaurants, and common areas were spotless. (my experience was great and I will come back on my next trip to Dubai, but the carpet is room 407 is old and not nice). Also location was good for airport and other sights to see.
