"The Gite is located in a peaceful setting 2 miles outside of Saint Jean en Royans. The private garden offers fantastic views towards the Vercors plateaux while birds of prey circle above and other wildlife pass close by. It is a perfect place to enjoy the end of the day with a glass of wine. Inside the Gite contains everything you need is clean and as avert used and shown in the photos. It is spacious for four people. We would not hesitate to stay there again should we visit the area again."

"The house is superb for a vacation, with all the facilities you would expect. We especially enjoyed the pool area, situated privately, and with a salt water pool, lounge chairs, and sun beds all close to the pool so a family can enjoy their time together. The hosts were very kind and extremely responsive when we contacted them, both before and during our stay. They were very helpful and provided suggestions for things to do. Highly recommend for a family vacation!"

"This is a lovely, well equipped, family home in an idyllic setting. The nearest town is Buis les Baronnies which is about 25 km away, but there is a small shop where you can order bread 3km away - a lovely morning cycle! A neighbour also makes delicious bread twice a week; and there are local places to buy vegetables and goat's cheese. The owners were helpful and sent useful information before we arrived, and met us on arrival, answering any questions. There are several good local restaurants,...

"We stayed here for a month long climbing trip in the area, and we were very happy with our choice. It’s very conveniently located close to climbing, as well as easy to walk down to the bakery and shops in the village.It was well set up and confortable for two couples. The kitchen was great and well aet-up with everything we needed.There is one parking spot in front, and we left a second car in the village parking lot, which worked well and is just a short walk."

"Tres gros travail de refection de cette tres ancienne batisse. Melange de moderne et d ancien tres réussi. Espace suffisant pour une famille de 9 adultes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décorées, les 2 salles de bain également. Les 3 wc permettent de ne pa avoir de "file d attente". La cuisine est également spacieuse et fonctionnelle et donne sur la terrasse. Le tout entouré de champs de lavande. Beaucoup d activités, de visites et de randonnées dans les environs. "As we were driving a long way, I wanted to assure that the restaurant and bar would be open in a hotel in the area. This hotel replied back saying that the bar is open all week and so is the restaurant. Booked it, arrived and the bar was not open. The kindly receptionist offered to get us a beer from the restaurant but the beer was flat and uncared for. We went to the restaurant, which had a coach trip in, and the staff could not cope with the volume, tables uncleaned, queues and thinking about that flat beer, thought it would be better to look elsewhere. Disappointing."

"Crumbs in the desk around the light when I checked in — icky but still he front desk staff took care of that. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately the swimming pool/spa wasn’t open on a Tuesday — the pool was the main reason I chose this hotel, so that was disappointing. Room was fine, as to be expected. "
