Nice for the money

This motel was suitable for the price we paid. Nothing fancy but it was clean, in a good location and the staff was friendly. I stayed 1 night for a business trip so I did not really need any amenities.

GREAT TRIP

Freindly staff, had made a small mistake on the booking dates, but was taken care of by the desk clerk with no problem. Breakfast was very good and a good verity of items. good location to just about everything in Douglas and i would recommend others to stay there. price was and would for sure stay there again.

Not fancy but clean and comfortable

We stayed here over the 4th of July. We had stayed her about 6 or 7 years ago and thought it was nice so tried it again. The motel is clean but has a little more worn look. The overall motel shows signs of use. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. I made a mistake when I reserved the room and reserved a smoking room. When we went to the room it definitely smelled of smoke. We had reserved 3 rooms and one was smoking. They very nicely changed rooms for us without any problem. They also were very nice to put all three of our rooms together which was great. The rooms were clean and quiet. The pool is not much but we did not care. The breakfast is OK, no meat but I really did not expect it. There were waffles , sausage gravy and biscuits, bagels, cereal, juice, milk, coffee and pastry . The motel was very reasonable and when considering the cost it is a good choice.

Great Value

For the price of this hotel I was super impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. I travel to this location almost every year to visit family and have stayed in a competing hotel because of its name and reputation. Finances changed my plans this year and I needed to find a less expensive place to stay. The breakfast isn't as impressive but the coffee is good and hot. The workout area is in an outside building and I would prefer inside but not too big of a deal. All in all I will stay here from now on when I visit Douglas.

Great Stay!

Our room was pristine! It looked as though everything was new except the tv which was not a flat screen. It was in good shape, and well located. One of the other guests said they had a flat screen in there room, and the staff had told them they were in the process of putting them in all the rooms. They confirmed that their room was in the same condition as ours. We checked our room carefully before we rented it for any problems before taking it and found no problems whatsoever! One comment, the mattress in our room was new and very firm! It took a while to get used to. This hotel is privately owned, they take a lot of pride in their product, and it was a great experience!

"Unbeatable comfort"

I attended my welcome home reception "Iraq" for a fellow Airman. The comfort of my hotel and cleanliness was very refreshing. It is a family operated hotel and they were very hospitable. They This is my second stay at "Jamison" and I will not stay any other place when I come to town again. Thank you for your professionally and care for your customers.
