"This is a unique find, we enjoyed the history of the property. Typical Italian streets to maneuver to get to the huge villa and the gate entrance is tricky with a bigger vehicle. The villa rental part is just a portion of the house but plenty of room, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kitchen good but if you want breakfast order in advance. "This is a good airport hotel by the Malpensa MXP if you want convenience transiting to or from the airport. My husband & I booked Moxy at the start and end period of our 3-week holiday in Italy and Iceland. Best location logistically. You can also take transportation from Malpensa via bus or train to the city proper. But it is a basic no frills hotel: without a kettle, safe or ref in the room. There is a full service bar and restaurant at the ground floor and the breakfast buffet is decent."

"Beautiful hotel, staff was friendly and accommodating. Located within a short 10 minute walk to the town center. Breakfast was nice. Mostly pastries and fruit, eggs and bacon. Pool was very nice and the spa was amazing. Food at the hotel was just ok. Portion sizes are small considering the price and taste was just ok. There are lots of great food options just a short walk away. Overall I had an amazing stay and would recommend a lake view room!"

"The hotel is very scenic and the grounds are lovely especially the pool area. Staff are very helpful too, room was perfect, good size and comfy bed. You can relax here all day and the views are amazing. It’s a bit of a walk up so recommend coming by car/taxi but going down is ok and a supermarket at the bottom and bus stop where you can get to town within 10 mins and Varese nord station. The only negative is the food, it just wasn’t to my liking and good value. I would definitely come back."

"One of the most beautiful and elegant hotels I have ever stayed in. The scenery it postcard perfect. The staff is friendly and speak good English. The breakfast wast the best I’ve ever had. Room was air conditioned, and the pool brought new life to me."

"Booked this hotel the same night we got there due to cancelled flight and staff were great, we rang up before we booked to check we could check in and they confirmed they would be there all night. The room was ready within 10 minutes of us arriving, nice room, balcony, comfy double bed, lovely shower and reasonably sized room. The rooftop we spent a long time on as we had a late flight on the last day, the day loungers are super comfy and there’s hot tubs up there too. Nice chilled town, lots of lovely restaurants along the same road, the lake nearby is very nice with a beach club/ restaurant on the water’s edge. The breakfast included in the stay was amazing, lots of options from eggs to pancakes to yogurt to cereal, staff were attentive too."

"Nice hotel, booked a suite for 1 night on the way to locarno, very nice room & wish i had booked for longer to take in varese more but i know now for next time. Very good breakfast & we made use of the nice swimming pool before leaving, my great granddaughter loved it & said the room was VIP with 2 balconies & 2 bedrooms so that made us laugh. Would stay again & an easy drive from malpensa."
