We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect. Close to a little grocery store with the best homemade croissants we ever had. There were 4 of us and having our own room and bathroom was a real plus. The place was huge. Probably bigger than we needed. But it was nice to have the space to spread out. The views were also exceptional. I would definitely recommend.

Great for families
Property is as described and worked well for our family group of 10. Beautiful views and close to Doolin.
Amazing experience, wonderful family home. Comfortable and spacious. Gorgeous views! Thank for an amazing stay in one of our favorite places in this world! All the best, the Queally family
Property was excellent, not within walking distance from pub is only downside but great for families as plenty of indoor & outdoor space & great privacy
This was the second time I stayed at the house. It is a beautiful house, clean, good rooms, beautiful view, convenient to neighboring towns, helpful manager and owner. It’s the only house I would rent with family or friends,

We would give this property a 9.75 out of 10.0. The home is beautiful and very well constructed. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The property manager was helpful as well. The only critique is minor: we would have like to have known in advance that there would be no coffee filters or paper towels. The WiFi is rather spotty, but we didn't need the internet to enjoy our stay. We look forward to a future visit to this property and highly recommend it to any traveler to Doolin!
Our stay at the Cliffhouse was simply Heavenly! We stayed on our first trip abroad with our family (my wife and I and 7 kids). The Cliffhouse was amazing - fabulous house and the views are as advertised. This was a perfect base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher and taking in Doolin (we are huge Irish music fans and we were NOT disappointed). I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone, especially large families. The kids had a fabulous time. Hosts were awesome and responsive, although we have no issues.
Thanks for an unforgettable time!

Lacking in maintenance and upkeep
Cliffhouse is in an ideal location however, this property was sadly in need of maintenance, upkeep, and a deep cleaning, especially the windows so you could enjoy the beautiful view. Three of the showers either leaked or did not drain properly.
There were no written or verbal instructions on how things worked.
The house is great. It is so beautiful and spacious! We had 9 family members and there was plenty of places in the house to have quiet time. Plenty of room outside for children to run around. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped.
One suggestion is that there be a few more towels. There was only 1 bath towel per person and only 5 hand towels to share. Not enough for a week’s stat. Except for the master bedroom, most of the towels were thin. More and better towels would require less washing of towels and save on electricity.
The location was perfect. It as easy ride to town and many attractions.

Lovely house and location
This is a beautiful house that easily accommodated our group of 7. Spectacular views of the Atlantic, Galway Bay and Doolin below. A couple of concerns. The manager was not very communicative and slow to respond to questions. They could use more written instructions to help take the guess work out of operating the household equipment, recycling and garbage processes etc. For example, there were no extra garage bags and when I e-mailed the manager to ask about, she didn’t respond for several hours. So I went to the local store and purchased a roll; while I was at the store she dropped off a roll. Questions were usually addressed but with a slow response time ( several hours). I also sent a message to her when. We were leaving, to thank her for the stay and pointed out some concerns about some unsafe furniture in the living room. No response, which was a little disappointing, as I was just trying to be helpful.
Great location close to the village, private, with views overlooking the ocean
Your just a couple mins from the town Doolin, the ferry to Aran Islands, Doolin Cave, the cliffs of Mohr, and Gus O'Conners. This place was massive and the beds were very comfortable. There were 3 living room areas. Extremely large kitchen to cook a large family meal if you want. Gas station right at the bottom of the hill. You cannot hear or "sea" the neighbors. The sunset is fantastic from thus overlooking the ocean. You are probably 6 mins from downtown Doolin. Plenty of parking and a ramp into the house. Take the ferry roundtrip to Inis Mor, come back on the 415 boat and then hit the 5pm doolin ferry cliff cruise. Would definetly stay here again.
Cons:
The internet wifi did not work while we were there, but we were only there between dinner and breakfast daily as we were out exploring out exploring.
The washer and dryer seemed to be undersized for compared to the American versions so you will do way more loads so plan your time accordingly. These are pretty close to the same sizes we have encountered in other properties in Europe.
Needs a sign at the end of the driveway with the house name.
We had a plumbing issue upon arrival but we had to immediately leave for dinner anyway and when we returned they had resolved it, it must have been a super easy fix .
The house was clean, beautiful views but needs a lot of repairs. The dryer needs to be replaced, the knob to adjust heat is broken and just lying on the counter. We had to adjust it until we finally found enough heat to dry our clothes. When you take a shower in two of the bathrooms, the water just pours out onto the floor. They need ventilation in the bathrooms. Everything is covered in condensation after a shower. We ended up taking everything out of the bathroom so the heat and condensation weren’t covering everything. A couple of our towels were so old they had strings hanging off of them.Tried to email the property manager to ask her about the dryer and never heard back from her. Had to email her twice for information on checking in.None of the sofas in the family room worked, and the sofa in the living room has a piece sticking out, and when my daughter walked by, it caught her on the hip. The coffee tables are all broken or on the verge of breaking. The internet only works if you’re in the living room, dining and kitchen… otherwise you have no signal in the rest of the house. I hate leaving negative things but the house is beautiful with a great view in a cute town but the owners need to do some updating. I get things wear out as we have an Airbnb as well but you’ve got to at least have your guest comfortable. The house was clean (with the exception of the fan above the stove was covered in grease with bugs stuck in it. Little flying bugs nothing terrible.
This was the ideal location for our trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. While it was farther out of Doolin than expected, we came to appreciate the distance from the commotion in town. We would return in a heartbeat.
Incredible location, views, just stunning. Great option for larger groups and host was awesome at getting back to us. So close to Music House, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands. Staying at the Cliffhouse and the surrounding area gave a wonderful experience of true Ireland
This property has a beautiful view of the country side and has plenty of areas of seating both inside and out. The location is on a secluded road so you need a car and a brave driver. We hooked up with John's taxi and he is a great guy to get you around and back and forth at a reasonable rate so no need to drive if you don't want to!
Our group loved our stay at this location! Waking up and ending the day to such glorious views of the landscape and ocean was the perfect vacation. Just a short distance to Doolin, the Aran Islands, and the Cliffs of Moher, as well as Galway and the Burren, we had more day trips planned than we had days to explore. The house also had a fantastic kitchen, which we were able to utilize on a couple nights when the weather was too rainy or foggy. Super comfortable house for our large group.
