Negatives: Music from a DJ blasting out all afternoon and evening stopping you hear the waves breaking over the reefs. Sharp pool tiles that cause cuts. Dreadful late night reception staff. Dry cleaning service ruined clothes and didn't clean properly. Some bedrooms smelt of mould. Positives Lovely staff. Great views of the ocean. Well equipped gym. Modern hotel. Useful $5 taxi service to local town in the evening arranged by hotel.

I celebrated my birthday at this hotel. It was incredible, special Thanks to the lovely restaurant stuff, who became my professional friends in this short time. Special Thanks to Godlisten, Kambani, Ezekiel for making my birthday incredible. The lovelu reception staf Keniza (i think how to spell it) and Majid. They made my stay amazing. I felt very welcomed when I first arrived at Le Mersenne Autograph Hotel. All of the staff are very nice and welcoming. Also the general manager Michael walks around and introduces himself to all the guess. I only have two little complaints about the room. The sliding door screen was off track and had a hole in the screen and the drapes were dirty at the bottom. But besides that my stay there was very nice.

Very quiet property, pleasant staff. Rooms were clean with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Not walkable to many things , would recommend renting a car as taxis can be a bit pricey. But it is very easy for the hotel to drop you off and pick you up . Would recommend if you need some peace and quiet .

Place is beautiful but service is awful employees must be trained to 5 stars way to talk and act Hidden fees that are paid at the check out. I’ve never paid taxes all my life during check out Half pension is not system is not explained at the check in, at the end I had to pay additional fees. Room was good but water was leaking in the wc and sink smell was in the room. Positive point for our honeymoon the prepared a cake

Zanzibar is a beautiful island with friendly people. The hotel is nice and the views are beautiful. However there is no beach at the hotel. The straff is kind but very untrained and many do not understand English which makes restaurant and room service challenging. The food is at a good price but at its best average. The hotel management is rude and did not Ask a single question about our stay. Head of food and beverage was very kind however. The ordered and confirmed transport from the airport to the hotel did not show up at the airport and we were luft waiting for an hour and after that had to arrange a taxi for ourselves in the middle of the night. Upon checkout they tried to chargé us for this… if you are looking for a true five star experience you should consuder another hotel.
