Great location to stay, I had a 3 day layover in Doha. Ouday the front desk manager and staff were very helpful and polite. The amenities met my standards and the rooms were clean and well cared for. Food from kitchen was delicious. Location is near Souq Waquif shopping center, and national museum of Qatar. Major locations are walkable and it's near metro stations and busses. Really enjoyed my stay and looking forward to staying here again next time I am in Qatar.

I had checked in into this hotel for a week long holiday in Doha. I was warmly greeted and assisted by the reception staff Oudie. After check in I was taken to my assigned room by Ismael. However, the first room at the 7th floor smells like cigarette smoke. They happily changed my room to the 8th floor upon my request. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. Mohammed and the Filipina lady at the restaurants serves my breakfast daily with enthusiasm. The rooms are reasonably big. I love the rain shower in the toilet. The only downside of my stay in this hotel was the gym and the pool. With my 7 days stay, it was always closed. I only used the gym once since its closed all the time. I was meant to be open from 7AM to 10Pm but every-time I go up there after breakfast, its closed. The staff told me to call the reception to have it open. Why should I do that wherein they were suppose to open it regularly according to their timing. Also the lift is playing up. It will open on a random floors. Over all my stay was pleasant and the location was great because it’s close to souq waqif, the national museum as well as corniche and there are few local shops around. Thanks and I hope to come check in again with you in the future.

Grand Legacy hotel is located near the National Museum, the metro statio, the pearl, and the Waqif. The staff was friendly, particularly the gals in the restaurant. Our disappointment was with our room. When we arrived, we noticed the counters and shelves were dusty. The linens on the bed seemed cleaned though. But throughout our stay, we had to constantly ask the front desk to send someone to clean our room, otherwise they would not clean it. On three different occasions we had to ask for toilet paper, shampoo, the for them to bring clean mugs.
