Great three nights at the Al Jasra Boutique Hotel
The hotel is in a great location in the Souk Waqif. It is a very comfortable walk to many great restaurants and interesting shopping. The souk recreates the souks of old, but in a very clean and safe setting. There are six other boutique hotels in the souk, all under the same ownership with all their amenities available to guests of the Al Jasra.
We arrived around 8:30 pm in the midst of a power outage. While we waited for the power to be restored, someone from the hotel named Kiran gave us a walking tour of the souk. This turned what might have been a difficult situation into a pleasant experience. By the time we walked back to the hotel, power was restored and we were escorted to our room. The room was huge with a sitting area and small kitchen area. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and arranged a couple of tours for us which were fun and well organized. I would highly recommend the Al Jasra to anyone traveling to Qatar.

Boutique means small number of rooms
5 Stars hotel in a 5 Star Souq. Both are modern and unexpectedly good. Dry Hotel. Pool in sister hotel is mostly for pigeons.

Nice Hotel in a traditional market "Souq Waqif"
Very good experience but couple of things was missing; small lobby and the swimming pool is kind of far away it's in another hotel !
Also there were construction in front of the building so the parking was a miserable to find parking so the valet parking takes a long time to bring my car more than 25 minutes. Despite of these things I would highly recommend this hotel.
