"Quite disappointing for a Mercure - more like an Ibis-standard hotel. Room was very basic - vinyl flooring, average bed and there was no fridge or air-conditioning, even though this had been advertised. The restaurant was not available in the evening (they seemed to have a small function on) but we were teased by the fact that delegates seemed to be enjoying a delicious meal whilst we had to visit a local supermarket to get some bread and cheese to eat by the pool. "The bright and renovated 2 bedroom apartment with Livingroom, eat-in kitchen, and modern bath was very clean, nicely furnished, and well supplied with necessary appliances and kitchen/bath supplies. "I am travelling continously due to my work and come here hoping to sleep well and to relax. Now, i could not resist but to stay yet another night as a private weekend stay, as i slept so well. This is absolutely a perfect choice for anyone wanting a very quiet location but still in few minutes walking distance from the Saabrücken altstadt pedestrian. (800m to Sankt Johann when using the nearest path & pedestrian bridge.) I liked swimming pool and the wellness area where to relax and i felt lucky...
