"The property was beautiful. The room was clean everything worked well. The nice free breakfast was cool although they could use some flavored creamer. The scavenger hunt and questions great add to the fun. Also love the lock idea!! Staff was friendly and helpful 🙂"

"Overall, the hotel had several positives. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was convenient, and the location was excellent, with easy access to the highway and surrounding areas. My main concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was hair left in the shower when we arrived, and despite notifying the front desk and being assured it would be cleaned, the same hair remained. "Nice and clean. Staff was fantastic!"

"The room was relatively clean. Bed was not the most comfortable. Mattress old and lumpy. I chose the property for the price. Seemed I got what I paid for."

"Great place for a family staycation"

"We loved our stay here! It’s beautiful and in a great location! Everyone was friendly and our room was very nice and clean! Streaming on tv was a plus since we had a rainy night in! The only thing we were missing was a microwave for our popcorn but the manager was so kind and helped us use one they have."

"I have a good time"

"Great location in the downtown area. Staff super friendly and helpful"

"Hotel staff and Valet were terrific. Rooms are dated, carpet is overdue to be replaced, as are the bathrooms. Great ceiling height in the rooms and the location is terrific. Walking distance to everything"

"This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I will be back!"

Around 7:30 when I was on the phone with an Expedia agent to cancel the reservation a few rooms became available. Several guests was...

"Solid place to stay. Breakfast wasn't amazing. Our room was decent and the staff were friendly. If you're going to Cedar Point and want a reasonably priced place to stay that's close to the park, South Shore Inn is a good choice."
