But we soon discovered it was because two full beds were pushed together making the bed disproportionately large for the room. The location was great for visits to the Himeji castle. "What an amazing stay! We stayed only one night at this Onsen but it was a great experience. We had a shuttle pick us up and drop us off at the train station, or bring us into town. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. There was one staff member who spoke English which made it helpful to get direction on how to stay at a traditional Onsen (it was our first time). The spa on the property was also very nice. Breakfast was great and served in private stalls in the morning."
