"The hotel can be challenging if you have mobility issues as there are no elevators but they have carts if you need them on the steep inclines. Good location, beach is nice and not as hard to get to as some reviews said. Breakfast was great and included. Meals were good but I recommend venturing out for a few meals. La Cantina didn't disappoint. Loved our stay overall and would come back."

"La Mariposa is amazing! It is a beautiful! The food is wonderful. The pools are refreshing. There is a sloth and cat that live in the lobby. We saw lots of monkeys on the property. The staff was very helpful. We did the kayak tour of the Mangroves set up by the hotel for us. It was amazing and worth the education and fun! We highly recommend staying here!"

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ecotica. The pool area is well kept and inviting. The rooms could use a bit of updating but filled our purpose as it was spacious. The bathroom was small in proportion to the room. The breakfast served was fresh, but the fruit didn’t seem fresh. Nothing spectacular but there were few choices. Restaurant bar disgusting, foul smell off and on when sitting at bar, stale wine, no alcohol at bar looked clised for good, matress disgusting in room, front desk rude... breakfast good and Justin ( delivered breakfast) and Roy amazing ( pool bartender) when they finally had one the day i checked out"

"This location was amazing! We just walked to the park from there. It made it less stressful. We just played at the beach right outside the hotel and loved the pool after each time. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and there were several monkeys around. This was our favorite place we stayed the whole trip. I would choose this location again if we went back."

The staff are so friendly and attentive. The pool overlooking the bay was perfectly cool and a great way to unwind in the hot afternoons. The view is stunning. The tile edging on the pool needs some maintenance but that did not take away from our enjoyment. We'd highly recommend this place!"
