"stayed in the sunrise room: really exceptional. It is a wonderful hotel, but overall, falling too much in love as to how fancy it is. Case in point: the Celajes Restaurant. Gorgeous sunset views. Wonderful starter. Then came the 40$ filet. Worst filet I ever had. It was chewy, rather than melting in your mouth as it should. Told the waiter ( more politely), who brought the chef. Rather than receiving an apology, I got a lecture and was made to pay the entire bill. Perhaps I was too polite? Anyways, can‘t fully recommend it at that price. Get of your horse, Hotel Belmar! It is a shame, because all the employees are trying so hard. Ah, also, the sunrise room is truly fantastic. But it creaks and rumbles when the wind is blowing outside. I didn’t mind, but some may find that disconcerting."
