"Rio Perdido was absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. From the moment we arrived, the service felt personal and thoughtful. A golf cart picked us up at the entrance, our luggage was taken directly to our room, and everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed.
We stayed in a Center Bungalow and loved it. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip, the room had beautiful jungle views, and even the shampoos and hand washes smelled amazing.
The property itself is stunning and feels completely immersed in nature. There are hanging bridges, walking trails, hot and cold pools, a spa, yoga classes, and a beautiful thermal river that we were lucky enough to enjoy almost completely to ourselves. We also saw monkeys and armadillos around the property, which made the experience even more special. The food was delicious, the drinks were always well made, and the staff truly made the stay unforgettable. We were honestly sad to leave. Rio Perdido is peaceful, unique, beautiful, and exceptionally well run. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."
