The service is beyond excellent: very professional, friendly, and polite. Mr. Adzki and Mr Arief are very helpful, they go above and beyond with their service. Mr Henri drove us around during our stay and very patience and trustworthy. We always have great experience staying at the Marriott, and Yogyakarta Marriott is so far the best.

Not much of an opinion. Firstly, we arrived at 3:15pm and had to wait 10 minutes to check in. Then were informed that no room was available and that we would have to wait 20 minutes which ended up being 10 minutes however very disappointing. Breakfast on 2 mornings we had to wait 15 minutes for seating then due to high volume of people the food selection was at a minimum. Concierge and bell boys were just to overpowering and persistent in wanting to assist. even when we expressed our wish to manure our own luggage they still persisted, very annoying.

An exceptional heritage hotel to Yogyakarta

The interior from the entrance to reception and lobby has a spacious character of a forest. Muted colour grace the ID peppered with Batik elements and sympathetic art works streaming to the bedrooms. The pool in the podium block is breath taking in quiet intimacy with the landscape, bringing you away from the madding crowds. Such a pleasure to celebrate our vacation with this project which reflects timelessness between tradition and modernity. Congratulations to the architects. A+!!

Hotel was nice, but rooms could use a lot more soundproofing. Food was great and staff very helpful. There is a shopping mall right next to the hotel, which is very convenient, but the hotel is far from downtown and all the sights to see.

Amazing stay, it was my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary during the stay. The staff;, especially Eka, Bella and Okta were fabulous, making both days memorable, cake balloons and banners in the room. We have stayed here a few times now and would not stay anywhere else in Jogya. This hotel is definitely number one.
