It had a nice welcoming area with the fireplace, the pool looks filthy there was dirt on our sheets and on our blanket, the pool so they could only have so many people in and the same people are allowed in all night so no one else was basically allowed to use the pool or hot tub area, I repeatedly asked for an invoice to be emailed to me and I had to call three times to get it.

Great hotel, friendly staff

This was the 2nd time we have stayed here and highly recommend. The staff are very friendly, breakfast had a good variety and the pool is perfect. It has a hot tub, a small pool with slide for toddlers and a regular pool. The rooms are comfortable. We will stay again when we are in the area.

The receptionist was very nice but did not wear PPE or have hand sanitizer available for guests. There was popcorn and a hair tie on the floor next to the bed so cleaning is a little haphazard. Other guests did not wear masks either on the whole, but I understand masks were made compulsory in MN the day after our stay so hopefully that has been remedied. The wifi was unsecured and pretty poor.

I was very pleased with our stay at White Oak Inn and Suites. We arrived late and the check in person was so friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom was clean, spacious, and quiet. One bed was comfortable but the other needed to be replaced. Morning staff was very friendly also. Breakfast was microwavable but good.

This is a very nice facility and is the best hotel in the area. There is an excellent bar and restaurant located right next door. This hotel is only a couple of blocks away from a casino.

A pleasure to stay at this location … a gem hidden away along the highway in Minnesota …. décor representing a typical northern lodge with lots of wood throughout including the rooms … fantastic indoor pool ….. our favourite of 4 US based hotels that we stayed in on our trip to Western Canada from Ontario … highly recommended ……

I would definitely recommend this stay. right off the highway. staff were welcoming. reminded me of a chalet in the mountains. used the fitness room and had the free breakfast - all more than acceptable

It was a good location for the price and what we needed. The breakfast was severely lacking and the entire place smelled vaguely like cigarette smoke. But overall, nothing major was an issue.
