For it's bargin price, it was perfectly adequate for sleeping and staying when not doing vacation activities. Staff were super nice, cleaning lady was a sweetheart 🙂

Okay the room has a mini split the AC is right where the bed's at so that helps you keep cool but it takes like a whole day with this heat that we're having it could be an ice machine also in a property I mean when I was checking in you know it took me like 10 minutes to get a hold of the I guess the property manager but hey for the rate that I paid was excellent and it was so close to downtown to the beach so you got to give and take what I stayed there again no I'll try to find a better hotel

If you are looking for a clean, spacious, and quiet room to recharge after a long day of adventures before diving into the next, this is absolutely it. Regency has completely outdone its old reputation. Both the property and the surrounding neighborhood have undergone a massive turnaround, making it a fantastic, budget-friendly place to stay. Here is everything that has been updated, changed, and why this stay completely won me over: 🏙️ A Transformed Property & Neghborhood The Address: Located at 619 N RIDGEWOOD, the entire area surrounding the hotel has cleaned up significantly compared to past years. It feels a lot safer, more secure, and well-maintained. It provides a peaceful, quiet environment to head back to at night so you can fully unwind without any outside noise or disruptions. Completely Refreshed Rooms: They have put a ton of effort into completely renovating the property from what it used to be. The rooms are updated with modern finishes, crisp new paint, new flooring, and zero trace of the old, outdated decor. The Ultimate Shower Upgrade:The bathrooms received a fantastic overhaul. The showers are perfect for two, with brand-new fixtures, endless hot water, and intense water pressure that DEFINITELY didn't disappoint

There were stains all over the walls, burn holes all over the blankets and curtains, the door was not fully secure, the window moved in and out, half the plugs didn't work, there was a dead roach leg in the bathroom, the bed was held up by a metal box with a flimsy bedframe, the mini fridge was held up by small blocks. the room smelled old and like smoke and there was an ashtray even though it was non-smoking room. We dropped our stuff off left, got back around 1am. Passed out and woke up a few hours later to see the actual condition of the room. Washing all clothes that touched the beds etc as soon as we get home. Absolutely NOTHING like the pictures shown.

First, you must ring the bell and wait for someone to respond. A young lady came out looked at me, closed the door, and proceeded to go to her vehicle to leave. After 10 minutes, a man appeared and rudley ask for my name and Id. I asked him to show me the 3-bed room. He said it wasn't available even though my reservation was protected. I then asked to see the available rooms. The first room looked and smelled terrible. All building and health codes were violated. I would not subject my family to stay in a run down "cell". The refrigerator and microwave should have been thrown away a long time ago: rust, stains, dirty on the inside and rusted on the bottom of both. The second room was worse. I refused to stay and left the property. By the way, the young lady, his daughter, was driving a 2023 Tesla and the other family member drove a newer model BMW. Spend the money on renovations or better yet ter down and rebuild up to today's codes!!

The Owners Qife at the Front Desk was very nice too me..... But the room needs upgrades badly. The Linen was Terrible!!!!!! Big holes in the Comforter, Bleed Stains in the sheets, Black marks in my Pillowcase, The towels were very and badly stained. The only good thing was that, the bathroom had new tile work. Upon checkout, A female staff member knocked at my door screaming checkout at 10am. I replied no my reservation says 11am... She replied NO at 10am. I grabbed my phone to show her. She called for her husband sitting infront of their room. Drinking beer. He jumps in my face telling me he doesn't care what my reservation says. Pointing his finger at me. I replied get your finger outta my face. Oh if you wanna fight let me know. I laughed and told him to sit his Ass down. I walked to the Office to speak to the Lady who checked me in. To show my reservation. The staff member came as well.... Still yelling and screaming. As I'm explaining. He's still being threatening towards me, smelling of alcohol. She apologized too me. But I'll never stay there again. Nor recommend anyone to do so. That I know

Receptionist zegt GEEN zaken te doen met Expedia

Aangemeld met kopie van de reservering bij Expedia. Receptionist verklaarde GEEN zaken te doen met Expedia, dus wist niet van onze komst. ( lagen WEL 2 A4-tjes van Expedia op zijn buro !!) Toen wij hem daar op wezen werd hij bijzonder onvriendelijk en wilde wel aan ons een kamer verhuren tegen het dubbele tarief, hierop zijn wij niet ingegaan en vertrokken met een boze, scheldende receptionist achterlatend. De buitenkant van het hotel ziet er heel verwaarloosd uit, de receptie is smerig en de receptionist is buitengewoon onvriendelijk. Dit hotel raad ik niemand aan !

Do not stay here!!!!

This was the worst experience ever. Me and my family got there and the AC did not work, we told the manager & he had to turn the breaker on assured us that the AC would work within one hour. We went back 3 hours later and the AC was still not working the room was hot. All the tenants are coming out the rooms complaining and at that time all the lights on the complex went out. He had an individual who is renting out another room come and look at the AC unit and they said it would work within 30 minutes I told him that I wanted a new room he refused and refused to give me my refund back. I called hotels.com they could not give me a refund either they said it was up to the manager they contact the manager the manager said they would put me in a new room. That did not work so my only option at this point is to call my credit card company and disputed with them because we never stayed at the hotel it was too hot for me and my kids to stay there so we ended up driving all the way back 3 hours later to home. That was after the manager tried to fight me. Hotels.com did give me a $40 voucher to use later so I was pleased with that being that they couldn't give me the refund however I still have to go to my credit card company or try to Speed it cuz I never stayed there

Plumber’s Getaway

Hotel and rooms are in poor condition; a very old and poorly kept cheap motel. There was no warm welcome, and the attendant/manager insisted that I provided him with my debit car’s pin number to charge the hotel fees to which I declined. Finally, he allowed me to go behind the counter and enter my pin number on the machine, but tried to overlook what I was entering on the machine. The room was nothing like shown on the Hotels.com advertisement; I reserved a queen bed, but was assigned to a double bed room. Everything in the room was in poor condition and the toiled would not flush. Eventually, I purchased a plunger from the nearby Wal-Mart and, after 30 minutes of hard work, unclogged the toilet. This would be a good motel for $30 to $35 per night, but not the $60 per night I had to paid, after fees and taxes. Truly disappointed that Hotels.com offered this hotel on their list of good hotel deals.

I booked a room on April 23rd for April 23rd, drove a car full of kids to hotel to be told there was no room and I wouldn't be charged. I did get charged for this and my free cancellation ran out on April 21st.. Tried to call and got no answer.

Scary Neighborhood/Run Down Rooms

The best part - it is 10 minutes from Daytona International Speedway. We had to be buzzed into "the lobby" as it is locked down. I assume that is because of the amount of seedy characters conducting shady business on the streets. While the workers were polite they did not have teeth and talked to themselves more than us.
