Imagine my dismay when, upon arriving at the Econo Lodge that I booked months ago, I found the entire property closed. Deserted. Ghost Hotel.
This was not the thing to find out at 9pm on a Thursday night in Arlington, TX with a Cowboys game that weekend. Rooms were scarce and overpriced. My Super Shuttle had no choice but to dump me on the side of the road with just my luggage. I FINALLY got a hold of someone at Hotels.com and they found me a room at a similar price (except when I got to the hotel it was actually $75 cheaper and Hotels.com refunded me the difference). What hotel chain closes an entire hotel and doesn't notify people with reservations? Changing locations totally ruined my plans and ended up costing me a small fortune in Uber and taxi fares. Never, ever again will I trust this site or any other electronic reservation system. Getting stranded in a busy city with a set budget really sucks!
Was not notified by Travelocity or Hotel!! Very disappointed. Cannot seem to get refund for rooms I paid for from Hotel or Travelocity. Will not be using either ever again.
I checked in and check right back out. The shower had mold and cracks in it and hair on the toilet seat. I asked for the next Manger to contact me and still haven't heard back from anyone.

Rude front desk employees!!
The front desk employee Emili was extremely rude! For what ever reason she treated us with an attitude. To top it off, She gave us a room that was dirty the mattresses we're both completely flat. Marks in the walls. The light fixtures we're crooked, the room size itself was like a tiny shoe box! Horrible! The manager that came to help us did not dress appropriate for her position. She literally wore club clothing. She was nice to me while I was in her presence but rude to my husband! We have stayed her TWICE in the past while there were people that actually welcomed you needless to say we will not be back. I can spend $200 somewhere else gladly.
I was very disappointed with Econolodge during my stay with them. The room was very outdated, the refrigerator did not keep my food cold, the tv got very poor reception with only 3-4 channels that were very grainy, the bathtub looked like it had mold growing. When making the reservation, I needed to add a day to my stay. Reservation was made two weeks in advance and the extra day was added within 15 mins of the first. By doing so, I was required to pay an additional deposit for the room. They charged me as though I was getting a new room, however they did not even clean my room that day. I will never stay with this Econolodge, and most likely any other Econolodge in the future. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
I am extremely disappointed with the stay and will not return. The room needs a complete overhaul. Carpet was bad. The kitchen area look like the 70s. The shower look like it had mold growing around it. The remote in the bedroom did not work. The stations did not have good receptions as if it was antenna tv. My room was not clean on Sunday. I did make two reservations which required a 50 dollar deposit....twice. The second time I paid the deposit the room was not brought to standards at all. My 50 dollar deposit was pulled out on Thursday for you and it is still not put back. Kinda funny how that works huh? So as far as a survey, lets see if anything happens or it gets deleted.

Terrible, old, in need of a complet remodel. I shouldn't of even checked in, although 15 minutes later I did check out. The hotel also demands an extra $50 deposit for expenses incurred in case of damage or loss to their property. That should've given me a clue...

It was ok, needs some work
An ok location. 10 minute walk to restaurants, a little longer to the AT&T Stadium. Staff were pleasant. Waited a while for airport to hotel transfer. We were told by hotel reception to wait at the lower levels of passenger pick up but the driver went to upper level. Then when he found us, felt like he was blaming us.
Rooms need a little updating, showers especially. The tap configuration was poor and didn't get much hot water (felt like a cold shower with a spritz of Luke warm).
Overall experience was good.
waste of money. room was dirty - we found an old bottle strawberry milk under the bed that was already in a yogurt state along with various wrappers. obviously not much cleaning was put into it. the elevator was horrible. lights would work and you had to hold down the buttons. room smelled like paint, I think we should have been asked if we'd mind that... pool and hot tub were dirty. if you're gonna have it open, make sure its clean! tvs were old box tvs and the tv stand in the living room looked like a tv tray. no media center console or anything. cheap!!! vending machine in lobby was empty. ironing board cover was filthy. bathroom needed updating. the knob to pull on to change from bath water to shower water was broken! basically had to grab with fingernails to pull out. bed was uncomfortable and still on box spring. kitchen area needed updating. don't waste your money - just stay at holiday Inn half a block down. worst stay ever.
very poor condition, dirty and old, i would never visit this hotel again, shower was broken, room stank badly, we really paid less so we got what we paid for
Didn't even stay there no running water after we checked in. To get into the room you had to pry door open which made it very unpleasant. Would never reccomand a person to stay there
I did not really get to meet the staff But accomadation was good and I recomended it to my friends I had some other guest that stayed there and they had a few complaints but nothing serious and we all will stay there again thanks Expedia you are no.one in my book

Okay place
We stayed from a Tuesday to sunday. We got there they did upgrade us. Which was nice from queen to a king room. But the later in the week we were there the stranger the people got. Drunks, people talking to selves , etc. also had a bathroom sink that leaked every time you use it. When we asked for extra towels as ones we had were used for moping up leaking water, we had to give up the ones we had. We also enjoy our privacy so wants no room service, we had to sign off every time for that. The breakfast was okay. Free yes, but we had someone's child who worked there trying to tell us how to do things.
My stay was for the 2016 International Bowl USA Football Games at AT&T Stadium. I could see the stadium from the hotel as well as Six Flags over Texas and Hurricane Water Park both were not open due to season. I enjoyed my stay and I would return. Convient location and easy acess to food, shopping and other events.
It was just very clear the property was not maintained over the years. Very outdated, heater took about 30minutes to blow warm, all the fixtures were worn and grungy. I wouldnt stay there again. Would pay double somewhere else just for a cleaner feeling room.
My stay at econolodge was horrible. The customer service was bad and the room we were assigned was not clean. First we get our key to the room and once we get there the keys did not work. We call front desk for assistance and while waiting for someone 10 minutes in the cold the person they say didn't even speak English. He just let us in and left without even giving another key. So once in we check the room, tv in room did not work and the sheets had a yellow stain on it. So therefore we call to request another room and that took another 20 minutes. It was a bad experience and after someone came in put us in a new room, the door didn't lock completely and the shower water did not get fully hot. I'm not making this up. It was a long and dreadful night and I will never go back and regret wasting my money. I still have not gotten my deposit back so I will give it just a lil more time. It takes a lot for me to complain and this I feel was a lot. If you're thinking about staying here, don't take your wife or kids with you because they will hate you.
