"Although the website and front-desk signage refer to a free "continental" breakfast, there were actually hot options - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, grits, oatmeal, etc. - so what was provided went nicely beyond what we thought it would include. Proximity to Interstate 75 and Fowler Ave. made this an easy location for getting around Tampa while we were there."

"I was genuinely disappointed with my experience at this “resort.” While it is listed as a 4-star property on Expedia, my experience, and even Google ratings, tell a very different story. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the property does not match the images advertised. The location is misleading; it is situated at the far end of a golf course, which was not accurately represented in the listing. The overall presentation and atmosphere fell well below expectations for a resort of this supposed rating. Due to these concerns, I made the decision to leave shortly after arriving and booked accommodations at the Westin instead. I strongly encourage the property to be more transparent and accurate in how they present themselves online. Guests rely on those details when making travel decisions, and this experience did not reflect what was promised."

"The staff was very nice. The property looks like the tried to update but the materials and work are not the best. Our room had a roach and was not very clean… dirty/ stained doors. Room just felt not hygienic. Upon entering hotel it freaked of RAID. "

"Staff was kind upon arrival at close to midnight, but the room was well below our expectations. The room appeared sheets were clean, but the air was stale and musty in the room. We stayed because it was so late at night, but the AC struggled to cool the room that night, and when I woke up the next morning, I saw several live pests and decided immediately that we would not be staying "

"Check in at 3, we got there after 5 and room was not ready. Finally got a room 40 min later. Room was clean, strong lemon scent which died down later that evening. We were on the 6 floor. The next morning could not shower there was no water on the 6 floor. Staff apologized repeatedly but no compensation for no water or late on check in."
