It is in the middle of nowhere, so I have been waiting for a reason to head down this direction. If you go, I would highly recommend canyon 4&5. The Econolodge in Cuthbert is one of the few hotels nearby. We choose it based location and availability. Walking into my first-floor room seemed good at first, but the room had a few ugly things that appeared quickly. Mandatory items: the bed, the towels, the bathroom fixtures were clean. The traffic areas of the floor were ok, but edges were disgustingly dirty, like it was hastily vacuumed. I even found a pair of socks left by a previous guest. The single staff person was moderately friendly in our quick check-in and outs. Breakfast was oatmeal packages, muffins and yogurt with coffee and juice. The pool was unusable: Literal trash in the green water and slightly low water. It needed a sign saying out of order and the gate secured. A deep cleaning and ozoning each room would take this hotel up a notch. Repair or fill in the pool.

Small town I always heard it was a terrible place to stay. Of course, it was the only place to stay in this town. So the day came that my water was being worked on and I needed a hotel. I took a chance. I am very glad I did. It's not a terrible place. It's it's on par with just about every other place I've stayed. The front desk was very friendly. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The towels were okay, not the thin ones like some places. I was actually impressed. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff person was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is a little old and run-down, but serviceable. Some burn holes in the bedspread. All in all, quite comfortable!

Staff at checkin was very friendly, but room had broken furniture, an antique mattress, no towels or pillowcases. The buffet was less appealing than id imagine chow at Rikers. But aside from these items, the place was a solid 1.5 stars, but staff was great.

Had requested non smoking room. Staff was friendly. Room Was dirty, even had ash on floor of bathroom in supposed non smoking room. No other non smoking room was available and hotel owner operator stated i could receive a regund as i had to find abother accommodation. Stillworking with customer service on this.

Dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed in. Staff member tried to tell us it was our fault that we got a dirty room because we requested an accessible bottom floor room and that the rooms on the top floor were much cleaner/nicer.

I will never stay here again

I was attacked by bed bugs during my stay. On the first night i noticed one bite, I dismissed it as a mosquito bite. After the second night I woke up with my body covered. When I went to the front desk to report it, no one was there. I've contacted Choice Hotels and they have done nothing.
