an air compressor behind the building kicked on every four minutes and I couldn't sleep. Left around 4am. In fairness, I called the front desk to get them to shut it down when I went to bed (they said they couldn't hear it, which was crazy because the building vibrated) and they offered to move my room. By that time I was in bed and exhausted and din't want to move so I stayed and stuffed TP in my ears to reduce the noise. Otherwise, the place was just kinda grimy.

Always clean. I've stayed there 4 times and eaten at the Taste of Dixie restaurant next door every time. Price is good.

Barely acceptable

The motel is ok if it’s the only place you can stay. If you have a choice, stay somewhere else. Our stay was filled with killing bugs in our rooms, with dirty (stained) sheets, and the a/c units didn’t cool the room very well.

The pool was unusable and on Expedia as well as their website it advertised beautiful pool. Also I paid for insurance to cancel and I wasn’t allowed to cancel. So I stayed there

It was nice there was a diner within walking distance, food ok but place not real clean. As for the Carriage Inn there were alot of construction workers staying there and was very noisy. The comfortors had holes in them , the bedding and linnen had stains on them and the rooms smelled. It was OK for a place to get a hot shower and sleep for the night but would not stay there for a week.

Staying with 3 children and Bugs were in the room, tried to speak to front desk and no one was around. No soap in the room, only shampoo and was not enough, should’ve given more effort in cleaning the room.
