"Pros: Das schmucke und sehr saubere Häuschen entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es ist sehr schön gelegen in einem kleinen Ortsteil von San Bernardino, nur wenige Kilometer oberhalb des Sees. Von hier aus erreicht man zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit. Sollte man mit Hund reisen empfiehlt sich ein Besuch des Hundestrandes am Lago di Mergozzo, nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das absolute Highlight waren jedoch die tollen Gastgeber. "Great place."

"Excellent stay at hotel De Londres in Brig, with great location that is in the center of the city and close to the train station. Breakfast is heavenly and healthy. Staffs are very helpful. Note that sometimes pre-stay queries/questions were not answered. I was considering whether to change my booking from 2 linked-rooms to another 2 linked rooms that was cheaper and my inquiry regarding disable-friendliness of the other (cheaper) room was not answered. However, we're not disappointed by my decision to stay with the more expensive room since it's close to the lobby and breakfast room. Note that the lobby and breakfast room are on 2nd floor since there's a restaurant/pub in the same building on the first floor. Noise from the pub below during our Friday-Saturday stay was manageable although my mom's quite sensitive (she couldn't use ear plugs). The first 2 linked-rooms mentioned above only available through Hotels.com while the other (cheaper) 2 linked-rooms is available through directly booking with the hotel itself. I guess it's special :-). We love hotel De Londres. Note that stores are closed on Sundays in Brig, including supermarkets but we found a few economical options for food (Royal Kebab, we love you!). Zenhausers supermarket in the train station is open on Sunday."

"This hotels gets the big things but fail on the small. Grand hotel, great beach, beautiful rooms, great breakfast, but as others note, you pay 25 to park for a day, in fact more if you use the car because payment is per hours capped at 25. We asked for iron. No. Not possible. Leave with staff and they will iron, I guess tomorrow.. and do on."
