"The ocean view room was so outdated and badly in need of redecoration. The lighting in the room was rubbish. The bathroom fan didn’t work so everything steamed up. The hotel ‘looks’ nice on the surface but a lot of the staff were pretentious and it felt like you were doing them a favour by staying there. So overpriced for what it is - def look at other options as there are a lot of better alternatives. "

"We had an issue at checkout, front desk called housekeeping while we were checking out and they claimed we had minibar items (soda and candy) which is impossible because no one in my family drinks soda or likes sweets. Very disappointing as this was our only negative experience at the hotel. The front desk who checked us out had no empathy and was very accusatory and aggressive when we tried to explain that it must’ve been a mistake. Probably will not be returning here."

"bad service, no intention to help, expedia offered me a room that was not suitable for the people traveling (1 bed for 3 people), extra charges unknown undisclosed something about state taxes 72 BRLs a day. The only thing that worked was the location"

"The hotel did not meet our expectations, it does not match the price or the reviews. We got a room without a real window (the window faced the hallway) so there is no oxygen inside. There was an unpleasant smell in the room, which could not be ventilated. The wall near the air conditioning was wet and with black mold. The air conditioning also smelled. It was very unpleasant. The bed was worn, the mattress had a depression in the middle.The breakfast was only basic, the ingredients did not seem to be of good quality. So far the worst hotel I have been to, I would not return."
