"This is the place to stay! Fun, colorful and playful. The rooms are each done in the style of a different year, 1950-1988 (I think), except for the King Suite that we were in for two nights in the 1925 Great Gatsby style. Besides nice rooms, the property has nice sitting areas (we enjoyed the deck area), a game room with pool table, foosball table and a variety of board games, an inexpensive laundry for guests, two outdoor grills (that we put to use), a horseshoe pit, a giant chess game outside, AND a very cool swinging bench area (set up in a semi circle facing a covered TV). The staff is absolutely wonderful. Breakfast is a combo of coffee and tea, premade waffles, burritos and tamales (easy to heat in the microwave), bagels, muffins, cereal and some fruit. There’s probably more I haven’t thought of that my husband and I liked, but I’ll leave it at that. You get the idea. We’d like to be back if we travel to Cortez again."
