  • On a work-road trip to McAllen, Texas I had the opportunity to swing by Corpus Christi and grab dinner. No parading, no shopping planned, just a quick bite before seeing more freeway. I wasn't expecting to see very much. Boy, was I surprised. We stopped for dinner just 4 miles off our route at Harrison's in Corpus Christi. We sat in the "floating" seating, a roped off dock with tables and chairs, and enjoyed some of the town's talented musicians singing homegrown versions of Sublime songs. The sun set with beautiful yellow and orange colored clouds reflected in the water and I was amazed no others were photographing this beautiful scene. Maybe indifferent, or maybe used to the beauty that is this town, and us the tourists making ourselves clearly known. Thank you Corpus Christi for your beauty and your meal. I'm sorry our stay was rushed, we will definitely be back!

ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!!!!

We stayed for 1.5 nights. 1st night I saw one roach in the shower. It was tiny and alone so I was thinking maybe it wasn’t a big deal. I washed it down the drain and all else was fine for the remainder of the first day. We literally got ran out of the hotel the second night because we made the mistake of getting some wings to go. Within the first 30 mins of being back in the hotel room the roaches emerged from hiding. I assume they smelled the food. It wasn’t one or two. There was about 7 and one huge one. It was horrible. We left the room around 10pm because we couldn’t sleep there. Had to drive 3 hrs back home in the middle of the night because we just couldn’t stay. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it it was time for me to check in my room had mold and lots of bugs they try giving us a other room and it also smelled like mold and we never got our money back we didn’t even stay the night

The front desk employee that checked me out after my one night stay informed me when i asked if there was going to be any additional charges she said no everything was fine.3 hours later i recieved an unauthorized charge to my debit card for 275.00 when i called to ask about it i was told the room smelled like marijuana.I do not smoke marijuana.when i asked the manager wouldnt the smoke alarm in the room go off...he said "He didnt know and it wouldnt be heard from inside the room"I had no recourse to dispute the accusations as i was told everything was fine upon checkout. If i was smoking pot i doubt i would be so agitated.worst experience ive ever had front desk employee was rude and did not smile once at check in.the cable did not work in our room.the soap dispensers were empty.two towels.floors neeeded to be swept and it smelled musty.overall seemed dirty and outdated the door leading from the hotel parking garage was broken and anyone off tge street could have access to the hotel and its patrons...a huge safety liability.theres a reason it is so inexpensive...actually several reasons.if you are not concerned about safety and cleanliness this is the place for you....otherwise i would avoid this hotel at all costs and would strongly suggest you tell your friends and family to do the same.

Location and price was the reason I booked here but It's an older building by the ocean so it may have a dingy smell. Some rooms worst than others. Room was very cold which was great. Conveniently close to restaurants and attractions. Overall this is a 2 star hotel as stated.

The hotel was very outdated. Leaks here and there. Damp carpet, musty. Breakfast only serve some toast and bagels and off course coffee/tea and juices/yogurt. not too much options. If you have more budget, try to find other hotel. First I didnt believe the review. I saw the pictures hotel is big and nice but pictures really don’t do justice..

Labor Day Weekend Away

We all had a great time in Corpus Christi. The hotel is old and needs some updating. But, the staff, the location , the clean rooms and the price was all worth it. Plus we booked so last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The hotel was fully booked. The staff was going crazy. They were great getting everyone taken care of. I could not have put up with so many needy guest. I give 10 stars to the staff!!

Very old needs to be renewed. Motel 6 has better rooms and nicer and cleaner then this place plus price was not cheap just cause it had a ocean view....smh...not worth the money!!!!
